  1. lollerskating jehosephats, you viewed my profile also. Nobody has left me a VM. That must mean I'm not as cool as you guys.

  3. Hey, come and join PRC143. I'll be working on this one for sure.

  4. You and me both got back on OCR almost at the same time. I just started checking the site again a few days ago (haven't visited here in months). I nearly forgot about our Super Dodgeball collab (have switched computers like 3 times since we started it).

  5. RE: piano (continued)

I know there aren't really too many piano pieces on this site to use as an example. I just posted one on the WIP (remixes) forum (DKC Chekan Winter); it's a piano version of the remix Prophecy made a while back.

Sorry, the playing is really sloppy, but maybe you can get a few ideas from it.

  6. RE: reviled.mp3, your thread seemed kind of old so decided to PM you instead. You seem pretty competent as a pianist. The pauses are a bit too long like you're trying to decide what you're going to play next. I don't really hear a melody until about halfway through the song. I like some of the chord choices and harmonies you use. Your ideas seem pretty fragmented and don't transition together that well. I could probably offer better advice if I knew your musical background a bit better. I really like these melodies, but wish they would keep going and be developed a bit more. I want to hear some real emotion fleshed out. Just go ahead and express whatever you're feeling through that damned keyboard. That's what I tend to do.

  7. Hey, do you have a timeline for this Super Mario World project? I used to be a classical pianist, playing Beethoven, Rachmaninov, etc. but I'm a bit out of practice (been working on singing and playing more pop music kind of stuff).

I'm definitely interested in possibly playing for the Ludwig Von Koopa scene. Unfortunately I've got a simple mic setup and an out-of-tune piano, so it's not going to be studio quality. I'll try and send you a sample and see if it's what you're looking for. I'm assuming you want a style similar to Beethoven's. I'll see what I can come up with.
