Y'know, there's just something about DJ Pretzel's singing that really evokes a sense of home, and a happy past. You can hear it in this remix and you can hear it in his Falling Down remix over at AR. It's always a real treat to hear the Pretzel sing.
And Geoffrey, that's some great guitar playing. I used to think that no remix of Peaceful Days could possibly equal Klutz's piano version of the song, but man, I have found an equal.
Amazing job, guys. Amazing job.

Update on a personal interest: first video footage for Pokemon Diamond/Pearl.
Also, dropping to the third page? Come on, guys, that's just terrible.
Aw, I wanted to see some battling.
Nice find though.
Yeah, I love the "dynamic prospective change" (is there a real name for that?) of the buildings as you walk past, very nice detail.

Y'got three votes from me, Pixie! Though I could have sworn that I had one or two more email accounts somewhere.
Ooh, are we cheating? Cause then I could probably vote like 6 times.
The only problem is that when you vote, I guess they record your IP or something, because you can't vote from the same computer more than once per month. So I had to use a number of computers on campus, just went down the row.
But hey, VGDJ is worth it.

I'm planning on getting a DS with my next paycheck and can afford to get one game with it, and I probably won't be able to get another for at least a month. So could anyone recommend a good game that would be worth the $ and keep one's attention for a while? Something that's also WiFi would be nice too (just got wireless DSL and would like to take advantage).
Thanks!
Animal Crossing. If you like that sort of game, it fits what you want perfectly.
That's one that I was seriously considering. Are there any good RPGs out yet? (I'm way out of the gaming loop right now)

I love this song, it's perfect when driving through the West Desert on a warm day. It actually reminds me of Peter Gabriel's Salsbury Hill.

Y'know, of all the remix projects to have graced OCR (most of which were great, love KiC) I think that RotC still rocks them all!

Oh man, this is great. Pure chill.

Yay, new VGDJ!
Celebrate!

I heart the penguins, pixie!

A quick question about the early days of the project.
Way back when the earliest site was put up, there were a few songs already posted for download (tracks #: 1, 2, 3, 4, 9, 12, 13, 15, and 16, to be precise). Were these songs final versions or just WIPs?
(Edit: Hey, cool, page 100.)

Wow, a beautiful mix. When I listen to it I close my eyes and can see a peaceful village with snow falling from the skies on a full moon night. Yeesh, how sappy was that?!

Wow, I really like this one. I've always been a fan of the much overlooked recorder, with its mellow sound and simplicity. To tell you the truth this song reminds me of something by Mannheim Steamroller, wich is a plus in my book.

I can't say that I'ma fan of this one. I don't know what it is, but every time I listen to it my head feels likes it's about to explode. I think it may have something to do with wearing headphones and listening to the music fade up and down, left and right. I just kinda drove me crazy.

This song reminds me of one of those ambient sound relaxation cds, very soothing.

A new favorite. This song is simply beautiful.

Sweet zombie jesus on a pogo-stick! This just blew me away, it's so frikin awesome, I love every one of these remixes! Listening to this makes me wish I had the skills to do this kind of stuff. I can't wait for the next project to be completed.
Keep up the great work everyone.

Hey all. Black Mage here, first time poster, long time listener.
A friend of mise first turned me on to OCR a couple of years ago and I've been downloading ever since.
My fav mixes tend to be of the orchestral genre, though I don't limit myself. I recently found the Relics of the Chozo and it utterly blew me away! I've burnt it to audio cd and even went so far as to make a complete cd case of it (I'll post the pics sometime soon). Then last night I saw the announcement of the completion of Kong in Concert, I downloaded the first song, and once again it blew me away. So I took advantage of the campus' uber download speeds to download the rest of the project this morning. I can't wait to get home and listen to the whole thing. This will also give me another excuse to design another cd cover/case.
I'm gonna stop babbling now, so I hope to get to know everyone in the forums.

Seems that this is going to be another great year for album projects. Chrono Symhonic (original and possibly SE), Blood on the Asphalt, Summoning of Spirits, Milkyway Wishes, just to name a few!
