I'm pretty proud of myself. Just got Mother 3 working on a DS flashcart.
...the hell?

Ya ha! Finally...I finally found a DS (in black, no less). Picked-up New Super Mario Bros too. Granted, I can't to the WiFi thang, but I still feel it's a good start. New Nintendo system, gotta start with a Mario game, y'know?
In short...I'm happy, and this has made my day after an exhausting day of barista training (too...much...espresso).

So, no more VGDJ?

Well, I have soundtracks for games I've never played. I was quite impressed with the OST from The Nations, though I had never even heard of the game.
Does this category include soundtracks like Xenogears Light, Xenogears: Creid, Final Fantasy: Potion, FF: S and N Generations? If so, I have those too.

Give it a month or so - the post-holiday shopping craze is going on now.
Never underestimate the desire of a gamer to get his new toy right now.

Dammit, I got the money and the desire to buy a DS (finally), but they are nowhere to be found! I've called over 20 stores today and not one has a single DS. This is driving me mad!

I used to have like 1000 OCRemixes on my iPod, then I needed space, and I was like "Hmmm what do I never listen to oh gee I seem to have like 1000 OCRemixes here" and now I have maybe 3?
I just like to listen to them on random, which would be a whole lot more effective if one could actually randomize one's playlists in the iPod.
-
Ever since I got my Mini disk player (awesome piece of technology, I might add)I have had all my favorite OCRemix songs on it... I was just wondering if anyone else has a section in their digital media player/CD player set for OCR ReMixes.
(awesome being able to listen them on the go, by the way.)
Yeah, I have every remix on my iPod (<3 60GB).

Threadless T's has some good ones.

It sounds interesting, though the google maps thing almost edges into creepiness if you think of people spying on your or something.
Actually, anymore the map feature just shows where you placed you nation. It used to be that you could see other nations within 500 miles of your own, provided that they were of the same strength level, but that feature was too much for their servers, I guess. So for the most part it been disabled...which kind of defeats the purpose of the google maps feature to begin with.

Tonight we are finally celebrating my birthday (two days late, but better then never, eh?). We have reservations with some friends at Rooster's in Layton. Then it's off to do the cake and gifts thang (keeping my fingers crossed for that DS).

That is AMAZING.
Thanks! I'm glad everyone likes the propagan...er...recruitment posters. Though I think I really should make a higher res version of the OCA flag, or better yet, one in vector.

Yay, I finally got my OCR shirt! Though I am again reminded why I rarely order shirts off the net...you can't try them on before you buy 'em. lol

I've never really done the resolution thing, but I suppose the this year I'll seek to continue working out on a regular basis, as I have been for the past two years or so. It's worked well so far, in the past two or three years I have lost about 60-ish pounds. Now I want to build muscle, so I guess my resolution will be to do more weight lifting. And as always, I'll seek to further improve my chefery skills.
I'd also like to try and gain some sort of actual social life...yeah, that'd be nice.

Well now, this is gonna take a bit o' gettin' used to, in'it, eh what?
She's a bit ginger at first, but I thinks it's all robin.

I don't believe I know him. It's hard to know everyone in IRON though. It's a pretty big alliance.
Oh and by the way; Olrad, a member of your alliance, is going to get his nation deleted in about six hours due to inactivity. If you know him you might want to give him a heads up. I believe some of you are trading with him, so you might lose your trades when he gets deleted. I'm lookin' at you, MarioRPG.
Thanks for the heads-up, bdftesla. I just emailed our man Olrad about the issue.

I live in northern Mormon, though I am not one.

Is everything going well for everyone?
Any issues, happenings, or problems?

God thread idea.
For my Dad: a quarter-zip fleece, a "survival-kit-in-a-bottle" thingy, a glove and hat set, a few other things I can't recall, plus my brothers and I put together a stocking for him as well with candy and a few other misc items.
Sean (little bro 1): a heavy-weight hoodie, a cool double action twisty ratchet tool...dammit, I can't remember anything tonight...another thing or two.
Kenny (little bro 2): new ear phones, Dickies work pants..and once again I can't recall. I think the wine is interfering with me memory tonight.
I also made many a cookie and made cookie bags for the neighbors. Even the ones next door who, I am pretty sure, have stolen stuff from our shed on at least one occasion). Cookies included: mocha biscotti, coffee-anise biscochitos, a couple kinds of chocolate chips cookies (including my signature recipe...yum), lebkuchen, and almond spritz cookies.

That's all I can remember for now. I have to go over to my grandparents tomorrow for round two.
Man, getting free stuff is such a chore!
Oh yes, I'd have to agree, I get to wait now for my birthday on friday. Keeping my fingers crossed for a DS.

Cranberry sauce with jalepeños. The two work wonders with each other!
That's no odd combo.
Have you never ordered jalepeño poppers from a restaurant before?
Try telling that to my family. They are, shall we say, "culinarily conservative," and afraid to try new things. It's really quite aggravating for me. Another combo I once made with dinner was mashed pumpkin potatoes. I knew it was going to be great, but my dad insisted that I get a box of instant mashed potatoes "just in case."

I would mirror those sentiments.
