Just for the purposes of discussion...I was thinking, maybe a panel format would be a future option for VGDJ 3.0, kinda like with TWiT, or The HotSpot. But I know nothing about making a podcast, so that may be a more complicated option that's not worth it...
Just a thought.
As for the final ep of VGDJ 2.5, I think I'll save it for tomorrow, so I can dedicate myself to actually paying the attention it deserves.

Zune = evil, DRM infested, POS!

I'd love to see "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" by The Darkness in GH3.

I know it has probably already been talked about, but I don't have time to read this whole thread. Does anyone know anything about the DS shortage and when Nintendo will start meeting the demand? This is especially frustrating me because I got a DS for Christmas (a white one) that had a dead pixel. Grrr stupid green dead pixel. At the time I had no idea how hot of an item the DS was/is, so I decided to exchange it as soon as possible.
While I was getting a haircut, my mom returned my DS to Target before checking to see if any were available. Of course there were none, and the grouchy old return lady sent us on a hunt to a different Target store claiming they had 5 in stock. Wrong. This happened the week after Christmas. To make a long and agonizing story short, I'm out of a DS, have started Final Fantasy III and Yoshi's Island DS and cannot play them, and I can't play any of my siblings games either.
Oh and I have to get one from Target because that's where my dad works and I get a discount. So my options are further limited.
Suck.
Thinking about it makes me want to punch someone.
I had the same problem when I decided to buy my DS after Christmas. It took me three weeks of stopping at stores and calling around till I finally stumbled on a few at Circuit City.
I'm afriad that you're probably just going to have to have to keep looking, or try eBay.

I was just watching a video where a guy demos Opera for the DS...honestly, I'm not super impressed. I mean it works, but I don't foresee myself going out and spending $40+ for the thing, but it got me thinking...What kind of similar "software" would I be willing to buy? I don't really think that the DS is very suitable for web browsing, per se, but something that would allow me to interface with a variety of messaging services would be great. Something like Trillion Messenger that would allow one to communicate via MSN Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, ICQ, and AIM...maybe even IRC, and also allow you to check and answer your email. Now that's something I'd be interested in.

Awesome, When is this game expected to come out?
Sometime third quarter of this year. I'm more interested in what the system requirements are going to be. I need to know how much I'm going to have to spend on my computer so I can spend more money on the game.

Has no one thought to add Geoffrey Taucer and DJP's Town Life?
Were you all born in a barn !?

You gotta move near the top of the map before using a sling shot, too.
Thanks, now I just need to wait till Tom sells one, after he reopens on the 16th after his expansion.

Question...On Animal Crossing I sometimes have seen balloons carrying gift boxes under them floating in the sky. Can you shoot 'em down somehow? Or are they just there to be there?

I can't wait to NOT buy Diddy Kong Racing and instead buy ANYTHING else. I thought the original was the most overhyped, overrated game in Nintendo's history, even more than Majora's Mask.
Majora's Mask...overrated!?
Blasphemy, say I!

I just use one of the built-in, cell phone sounding ring tones that came with my phone. I am completely unwilling to pay $2 - $3 for a stinkin' ring tone. Nor am I willing to pay $20 ir up to $50 for a Nokia link cable and software to upload my own. It's just not worth it. Same goes for wallpapers, I won't pay $2 for a picture...that's what the camera feature is for.
Though I would love to have Bananaphone, Silent Mike!

I would just cutout the snes pad with the headphones and write "overclocked remix" using a similar font.
I believe the font is Iomanoid, you can find it at dafont.com.

Just got Animal Crossing. My friend code is 2234-2765-3825.

Settlers of Catan is an awesome game. Me and my friends play regularly. I have also been known to play some epic Diplomacy games.
I've heard Catan is a good one, but I've anly really seen it at the mall in those board game kiosks that go up around Christmas.

I hope so.
Also, a little something to tide you guys over... clip from one of the finished tracks, a take on "Red XIII" and "Cosmo Canyon" that Sixto and I did.

Enjoy.

Love the Heroscape, that's one kick-ass game.
Used to be into the PokéMon card game, too. Still have all my cards, actually, though I haven't played in years. I still wish I had sold my Charizard when I had that chance, could have gotten a good $50 for that damn card.

Yes...yes I would.

Maybe I'm just blind and didn't see it mentioned, but is there any idea of when 3.0 will be open for business?
-
I'd say no - I refuse to buy any PSP game at the $40 price tag, and the same goes for the DS.
Welll, I do have a $10-off thing for GameStop, so that would bring it down to $30.
My other thought was to get Animal Crossing: Wild World, so I can have something to use the WiFi we have at home.

Help a new DS owner out. Is FF3 worth the $40 price tag?

I enjoy Arthur C. Clarke's Hammer of God as a good, quick read. The story is kinda predictable, and moves fast.
iPod or Zune?

I actually switched to iTunes because I liked the interface. For a long time I used WinAmp (and still do for various purposes), but as my mp3 collection grew, it became harder and harder to manage them and find what songs I wanted. At first is was easy enough to simply click the file and play, but then I had so many files that became annoying. Then I tried the media library, which was an improvement, but it still didn't work well. iTunes on the other hand, was just what I was looking for. Besides, the fact that I have an iPod also made it easier than using and managing two different libraries.
It just works.
