  1. Force your way down a path you choose to take and do it all yourself. THATS THE WAY TEAM OVERCLOCKED ROLLS!

We evolve from the person we were a minute before. Little by little we advance a bit further by each turn. Thats how a drill works. The dreams of those who have fallen, the hopes of those who will follow. Those sets of dreams weave together in to a double helix forging a path to tomorrow!

Here's to Ten years of doing it your way i hope for another 100.

It's a shame some of our best are not here to see it.

  2. A few moments in video games when i was younger and one recent that really just turned on the waterworks

Chrono Trigger: Losing Chrono, This should have been a precursor in my mind when i was playing FF7. They had killed off main characters before. While you could get Chrono back that entire incident was just epic. A real Tearjerker.

Seph killing Aeris... I was just turning 13 at the time i believe i just lost it. My parents werent home at the time thank god but wow...just WOW. Crying. Then a stone cold rage like i'd never experienced before in my life...one i havent experienced since. I had the water ring which basically negated the attacks of the boss that spawns immediately there after..i just went to town.

FF8 Once you go orbital that one really pulls at the heart strings up until the moment she's freed from the chamber.

The most recent one that nearly made me go over was in Mass Effect believe it or not. Having to make that choice was horrible (players will know what i mean).

Those who say they are too manly for such a thing don't leave themselves open for much. These stories are infinitely better than movies on par with the best of novels and withstand the test of time. To not admit to it in some form is lunacy.

  3. Seriously, when are these PC hypocrites going to admit they didn't have the balls to stand up to IW / Activision and move on?

And I don't want to hear any BS about "well, I'm sticking it to the man by playing a cracked game". Bullshit. First of all, if you REALLY wanted to stick it to the man, you wouldn't be playing MW2 at all. Second, those cracked games still report to the IWNet servers, meaning that you're ALL REINFORCING Infinity Ward's original view: that modders and crackers screw over the rest of the community.

Go ahead: report you 10k exp per kill matches to IWNet and screw over all of the innocent casuals who just want to play a damn game, go to a leaderboard to see how much work they've put in, and *BAM* broken leaderboards. Way to prove IW wrong, guys. So far, you're only proving that you're self-righteous assholes who don't care about screwing other players over to get what you want (even if that screwing over explicitly involves giving up your beliefs because you weren't even strong enough to stick to a "boycott").

I got news for ya man. I've not touched the game. And even with the money i wouldnt touch the game. I wouldn't touch it for free and i am strongly considering moving my reservation on the first episode of SC2 to ME 2. I havent made a hard decision on that yet.

  4. Opera (FFVI) - Just as I was starting to lose hope that this song would not be featured, they announced that although it was time to be finishing up, they would be doing so with a classic, the FFVI Opera. This was everything I wanted it to be, in all seriousness, it does not get much cooler than seeing the Opera performed in front of you in a real live performance theatre. They brought in 3 vocalists to take the roles of Maria, Drako, and Ralse, and boy could these guys sing, it was just unreal how loud they got at times. Seeing footage from the Opera event in the game on the monitor while this played out was also pretty funny, particularly the part which shows the conductor and orchestra, almost a little surreal.

If i had known i would have come...to miss this made my cry a bit. This is the one song that isnt on OCR. Pixie and Kate need to find a couple of male vocalists and hammer this one out. Vancouver is unfortunately closer than Chicago for me. I'm not going to be able to make that.

  5. Valse Aeris, The Rose General (possibly....not sure there on the beats) If you are looking to fire up the tempo you bLiNd's JENOVA Celestial (J-E-N-O-V-A) works i think.

Zeratul's Millennial Fair 2001 mix from CT is another pop based.

Spekkosaurus' Trial in Concert is probably worth looking at.

    Protricity's DKC 2 Savage Seduction

Droping a bit into Rave but still dance music FFmusic Dj did a nice Mix concerning Celes' theme simply put Celes(dance)

Star Salzman: LetUsDanceInTheDarkOfThePhantomPhorest (that's the exact file name)

po! did a nice one based on Costa Del Sol for FF7

The Rose General I didn't really recommend because i am not sure how it plays Rose of April however while short is a pretty good piece for what you are looking for.

Nines did a pretty good one Called Crystal Rave (FF theme)

    bLiNd also did White Skies.

Disco Dan did a nice mix that would probably work. Metalman goes Clubbing

    That's all for now.

  6. You are going to get a lot of intrest. The fact of the matter is that this is a truly kind thing you are doing. This soundtrack is not the easiest to find on american shores. I would love to add this to my growing collection of music. The game is among my personal favorites and has possibly the best story of the FF series to date. Six is a close run but nine edges it with its sick finale.

I wont go and say that i deserve it but i would like it for the simple fact that it is a well composed OST.

I hope whoever gets this package appreciates it. I know i would.

  7. as long as it's a metal band, go with the black. The other watch is more if you're into wearing business attire all the time (like if you're a debate student or something)

I kinda want another watch nowadays myself...stopped wearing em.

Thanks for the info guys its nice to see a decisive answer.

And Bahamut they do offer a 1500 dollar package but i am never one who invests that kind of money in watches. I was leaning black before but now i know its the right choice. :) Also i almost forgot i am just going to be a basic college student. Nothing super fancy though i can wear a suit on occasion.

  8. I am looking at two different watches. Same company makes them (loved the first one i bought but now i am looking for something nicer but still practical.

    http://www.gametimeshop.com/AMAZING/items.asp?Cc=NFL-PHI-MVP&iTpStatus=0&Tp=&Bc= That's the first one

    http://www.gametimeshop.com/AMAZING/items.asp?Cc=66-TTS&iTpStatus=0&Tp=&Bc=

That's the second one. Both are affordable and both are very nice. Please do not factor in price. I am about to attend college so allow that to factor in. Which one should i buy?

  9. how the hell did you beat those old games on the NES

    those games are so hard

battletoads is impossible without save states

the first zelda is impossible without a guide (the 2nd quest at least)

i can't imagine kids not GIVING UP for several of these games

    HOW DID YOU DO IT

There were guides out almost as soon as the games were out honestly Nintendo was damned good about that. To my credit zelda castlevania 2 and many others were beaten without those guides simply because i just had those reflexes from Atari games.

  10. Any of these titles would be an LOTR class undertaking.

When i use that reference in film i mean a specific timeframe a specific budget and a determined effort to make it work.

Metroid: So much would involve the lead. Honestly i would have the suit distort voices slightly if for no other reason than the voice actor for the American Motoko Kusanagi from GiTS would be the perfect voice. (No idea if the actor is even Female or if she was that she would have the body to pull that off)

Legend of Zelda: The only way i would go to see this movie is if the actually did what has been happening with many of the 'remakes' when they update them. I dont want a re-hashed story. I would love to see some new ground on the franchise.

Megaman: While many point to the cartoons i point to the X series of games. Everything past X-4 showed that a movie in an animated form was a possiblity and that it could actually be rather well done. The fact of the matter is however i could easily see this going live action with the advances in special effects. If it was done in the X universe and done properly I can honestly see this being a fun film.

I agree with several who said Hellsing when they thought of Castlevania. Enough said there.

Ninja Gaiden? I would prefer MGS first.

  11. Compared to what? Do you know how much a VA makes on average? How about for a hit show like The Simpsons or South Park?

'Cause I sure as hell don't.

In reference i dont think Seinfeld or Friends cast members got anywhere near that until the show started becoming dominant on nightly TV. And that's full out acting. No clue what most make but trust me if its more than 10k an ep i would be damned surprised.

  12. I guess nobody reads the write-ups :D OR maybe i'm dense and I didn't properly interpret the wink :/ anyway, in case someone isn't aware of her other vocal works...

click here - all the vocal covers she has done... on youtube.

You didnt. There is a huge difference between a Youtube job and an OCR submission. OCR demands an exceptionally high level from its remixers. Those asking for more are asking for this level of Remix. A tall order but one i would love to see happen.

I would love to hear her and pixie hook up for a song. Maybe a variant on FF8's opening?

  13. ....Shades of the Remix Kee and Pixie did come flooding back. I can not help but cry as i listen to this. Kee was lost to us not all that long ago and there isn't a day i do not wonder what music he would have created. I don't know if you guys felt anything weird as this was being done... But i can only believe that he was watching and guiding your hand.

This is not only a beautiful song. But to hold so true to the woman this song is about was a truly rare thing.

I would pay for many of the remixes on this site. This one you can not put a dollar value on. Thank you Kate...

  14. Yeah, that's not actually Portal 2, it's the Portal + HL2: Episode 2 beta for the Novint Falcon, a special 3D force feedback controller. Confused me too when I first saw it (I thought "Novint Falcon" was the subtitle for Portal 2), but I'm glad I checked it out because it's a pretty cool controller. Even kinda looks like a Portal gun. :P

But yeah, they added TF2 into the beta a little while ago even though they didn't change the name, so it'll affect that too.

If thats what this is i will update valve asap I hope you are right. This has been giving me fits!
