  1. After stumbling onto Pillar of Salt, I wanted to hear more Star's stuff. Nothing like Pillar of Salt, but I love it just as much. This is what Robo's theme should have been. Incredible stuff.
  2. I grabbed this song a few days ago, and didn't like it too much, but I couldn't deny that it was well made. So I listened to it again. I don't know, maybe I was just in the mood to hear something else last week and that would explain why I didn't take to it because I am loving it now. It's really epic, a song that belongs in a movie, perhaps a death scene or a hero's last march -- that's what I see when I hear this. I think I'm gonna have to play this game now. :: sprints to local EB Games ::
  3. Damn I really like this song. Doesn't really remind me of Earthbound, but I thought it was a really cool take on a song I did like from the game. It sounds like something that could have been in SSBM on the Earthbound stages. I had been wanting to hear some trance lately too. I think my favorite part of this song is how it ends with the bells and the "post-wake up" Hotel song. V. good stuff, Mr. bLiNd.
  4. Just wanted to say "thanks" for posting the drafts of this track -- it's damn interesting to hear a song, and then hear where it came from. I think I appreciate the song, as well as the music-making progress in general, a bit more now.
  5. Ooh. I like this. It makes me want to smile. What a cheerful piece by an obviously talented pianist. Good stuff.
  6. Got-damn. This piece is too wonderful. The track is so soothing, so relaxing, and just so damn smooth. The vocals are gorgeous. This one's going straight to my Archos and this here Joytune. I'll def. be looping this track for weeks to come. Hell, I'm loopin' it now. Sephfire, GrayLightning, Pixietricks: I am completely stunned by this incredibly euphonic piece of sound yall have created. Many thanks, and I look forward to more of your works - solo or together in any combination.
  7. Wow. This is the first of it's kind for me. I've really enjoyed this remix since getting it. So smooth, and eloquent, makes you wanna break out the good scotch and just chill out. The jazz/samba/Vegas hotel lobby musak thing is really just nice, I can't comment on that enough. Good flippin' stuff, Harmony
  8. I've had this remix for some time now. I listened to it a few times after having initially aquiring the song, but I had forgotten about it until just recently. I was listening to my OCR songs while hittin' the books the other day, and by the power of random, this popped on somewhere along the way, and I just couldn't stop listening to it. It's so mellow, and I like that a lot since a lot of the trance/techno induced remixes (and trance/techno in general) I tend to hear are extremely high energy, can be repetitive, and sound unoriginal. And I like trance, just not bad trance, but this isn't bad by any means of the word. I've had it for a least a year, maybe 2, and I'm just now hooked. I've been listening to it all morning. But I'll tell you the true reason that this remix is so damn good; I had never heard the original sample before until I hunted down the game last night and played it. This is a great song sans the original, but I do like the game's soundtrack (what little of it I actually heard anyway). Thank you for the good music, djpretzel.
