  1. whoa, it's been a while since my last post here. let's see what I have got this time. I want to give another chance to some characters I already tried to submit in the past, and rejected either at all or partially. --- sprites --- Knuckles: ◄ LOVING this pic, it's an hidden sprite you can't see in any game unless you use a debugger LT: Brighten up the puffed up Knuckles sprite and I'll take it. Remember, the Genesis ones tend to be dark for some reason. The others, there's no need for them. Rouge: I seriously think we need some Rouge in the gallery. problem is, 99% of her sprites are > 32x32, so I must use weird poses to find sprites that fit with the size limit. I hope that some of these can pass. oh, and this was listed as Rouge, but I don't know what is it: LT: Meh. She has no decent, normal looking character poses. And what the hell was that other thing? No need for that Chao below either. Chao: Now, some anime. I really want some Yu Yu Hakusho in the gallery, so I try again with (hopefully) better quality: Botan, Hiei, Kurama, Yusuke (x3) And the necessary Inuyasha. I'm eventually going to find a decent pic of him, so I'll keep on trying as long as I manage to get some Inuyasha approved. Oh, and another Rouge. Not listed as sprite because this is from Sonic X: LT: Those were all terrible looking screen caps. Most of the Yu Yu ones looked like they had a green tint, the resolutions are all cruddy, and I'm never gonna take something at 32x25 when it could be 32x32.
  2. if I were a judge I won't pass this one. Too close to the original (that's also one of the worst BGMs in Sonic 2, imo), and as already said, too repetitive. Sorry to be so rude, but I find this remix to be meaningless.
  3. That's certainly a stupid thing to wonder, considering who's on the project. Considering who's running the project.... I'm still loving your F-Zero remix (Break the Silence)
  4. simple, you DON'T know which to use.you may need an higher quantization if you're willing to print a score of your music, otherwise it will be a messed bunch of notes everywhere.
  5. yes. that's why I offered him my webspace. everyone can ask me, sometimes I'll even agree.
  6. you can upload your remix on www.rapidshare.de; you'll need to download it once per month or it will be deleted. if you don't like rapidshare, send me a Private Message and I'll host your remix. edit: he is being optimistic. since he is new, he can't know how fast is the queue.
  7. you can also open your gifs in windows media player.
  8. no, you're not. it has vocals. and it's a damn cool song.also MY marble garden remix has vocals. they are in italian.
  9. That's what I was looking for! But I had seen a larger and slower version... it's not slower anyway. but you can fix its framerate by hand if you want.
  10. This reminds of a Penn Jillette animated gif I saw somewhere in the internet a long time ago...it was one of unmod's temporary fads.we've had Ugoff, we've had the cockbee, we've had also this:
  11. try to take a look here: http://www.ocremix.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=83681
  12. Sequencer, eh? I still recommend Midi Orchestrator Plus.
  13. when you stop to touch yourself at night Yes, I can. LT: Decent ideas here, but the resolution isn't sharp enough. Get the resize looking a little bit better, and these are good.
  14. Awesome. I'm just listening some tracks here and there, and I'm liking them More specific comments from me later. For now, I point out something to fix in the website: Guile's tracks seem to be 0 bytes long. edit: Richter is the man and he already fixed them. Nice Work.
  15. Did you even check the link. yes I did."The demo will work for only 20 days."
  16. aren't you copying a copyrighted software and/or asking us to find you the installation file, are you?
  17. Wtf? now the gif is longer.oh well: () LT: Nice additions and much appreciated. Great rips. The ones below though? Naw. edit: edit again: more love for the Sega Master System Idefix, from Asterix: Aztec Adventure: Kanego, Papi, Pupe Comical Machine Gun Joe: ... while we are at Phantasy Star... Monkey from Psycho Fox: Shinobi: Teddy Boy (wut?): TransBot (again, wut?): Wonder Boy III: Wonder Boy in Monster Land:
  18. I did a quick search, he's from Dragon Quest 6.Oh, here is some Terranigma. Another game I never played, so filenames are messed up again. LT: Took 4 or 5 of 'em. Most of them are just bland, generic characters, so I took a few that I felt people would actually decide to use.
  19. Suikoden isn't easy, I'll try something later. I have some updates anyway. Sky Dragon from Legend of Mana: LT: Too indistinct. The dragon doesn't stand out from the background and the space looks too empty. Random stuff from Lufia (I never played it so I can't name these): LT: Took what I felt were the best looking ones of the group. Lunar (again, random stuff): LT: Didn't take the first one. Rest are good. Monkey Island (guess what?): LT: Just the sailor-style guy. And an old man from some game: LT: No game, no go. Just kidding. I saw he's DQ6. Still a crappy sprite though. edit: would these be allowed for Suikoden? LT: Sure, some of them. Ugly sprites though, they practically all look misshappen; it's the way thay stand. Poop on whoever designed the characters to look so ugly. also, I'm working on some Terranigma right now. I'll post them later.
  20. so, mainly, you're asking "what microphone should I buy?" (and maybe you want to know a bit more about vocal recording and mixing tips), and then you want someone to recommend you a preamp. I see... interesting questions.
  21. Also, I'm still accepting requests if there is anyone who wants a specific avatar. Right now I'm doing either: games that I like games with plenty of oc remixes (like Chrono Trigger, I never played it)
  22. Some new sprites! the Blues Brothers: LT: Nah. Dragon Warrior: LT: Took most. the King of Fighters, 97: I can do all of the ones from KoF97, just let me know if you like the style so I won't waste time. Also, I can already see Sir Nuts using the Robert Garcia one (lol). LT: Too small. We already have more full-sized KoF avatars. Any other newer ones need to follow that style. some random Mega Man game: LT: Sure, why not. Money Puzzle Exchanger (one of the best underrated games in the world, imo. it deserves more audience): LT: Took the "Every worker". Rest are too chibi oogly. Pacman (from Pac Land): LT: Nah. Lame pose. Shock Troopers (another underrated masterpiece, imo): LT: Took the decent looking ones, ditched the rest. Wolfenstein's guy: edit: now with transparency: LT: Transparency, excellent. ... and Tsunade, from Kabuki Klash: THIS MUST BE ADDED SO I CAN HAVE SEX WITH HER PIC (or at least use it as my avatar) LT: Get the resolution sharper and I'll add it.
  23. N: thank you for merging my triple post. now I don't feel guilty anymore You forgot, I already fixed them.LT: Ha! That time, I thought you just quoted them so that the existing ones would merely LOOK transparent because they were on a white background. My fault. Thank you Also, still accepting requests. I give up on the Street Fighter ones anyway, they're too hard to do. ------------------------------------------------------ Sorry for double posting, but there's something important I want to tell Larry, I was looking in the current gallery, and guess what? We already had them... Coop's ones are better anyway, I guess you can replace the old ones. LT: I know, that's specifically why I asked for them. We'll see if djp prefers the revisions of the old ones, or the more close-up style pictures. ------------------------------------------------------ Triple posting. I'm feeling guilty. I ran a search in the ReMix archive, it seems that Chrono Trigger is the most remixed game. So people is going to get Chrono Trigger avatars. For characters who already had an avatar (e.g. Crono) I tried to do something new. Let me know, I think there is almost everything here: LT: I took most of the ones that were important characters and looked easily identifiable. Some of the minor-looking stuff and random non-character objects were passed over. Don't need a flowerpot. Can any CT fan identify what Misc1, Misc3, and Misc9 are? 9 might be Uematsu, but I wouldn't know. N: it seems that they are portraits of some code developers, as a sort of Easter Egg (as well as Misc4). I'm not sure about this anyway, you should wait for more replies. You know who can help you? King of Pillows, on OLR. He has one of these as his avatar there, he probably knows the truth. And the flowerpot is true art. Also, other stuff. Enemies from Bubble Bobble: or (I prefer with the black background) LT: Only took the first enemy with a transparent background (the other one didn't look good either way). When using solid backgrounds with no bordering, it's best not to have some images touching the border of the image. N: I know, that's why I added a border when I did the Dig Dug ones some time ago. This time I couldn't do that because the whale is 32x30 and there's no room for a border. I could use the original sprite (16x15, I resized it to make it look bigger), but it would be too small. Main character and enemies from Rainbow Islands: LT: Ugly sprites, no thanks. Batman's Logo: LT: Not really a good resize, plus it should be centered in a 32x32 box.
