Hello and welcome to the Overclocked Remix Arcade Game tournament thread! Even though the AG2 Tournament is not complete, both EasyP and I agreed to have Hyper Street Fighter II as our next game, so I decided to make the next competition active and ready to go! As stated above, this month's game is Hyper Street Fighter II. In this tournament, we shall be doing the "round robin" format. Rules are simple for this. Default settings are mandatory. You will be playing best 3 out of 5. We will be using an emulator called Kawaks, a cps1/cps2 and neogeo emulator. It has its own netplay option that does not require lan, so we do not need to worry about using Hamatchi. You can use whichever server fits you best to play your matches on. East coast should use "anti3d", while the West coast should use "fragbox". These two are the best for both coasts, and should help to minimize desynching and ping issues. Sign ups end on the 16th, but that doesn't mean you can't start today! Since it is round robin, you can still sign up even if the tournament is in progress, so don't be afraid to sign up and join in on the action. Practice hard and come out fighting! The lockdown eh? It could be like ocr 05! Just imagine it, a community that actually cares about the site that they are in, and no bastards there to ruin it. When graylightning left here, everything changed for the worse. People got banned left and right for the most minor of things. Also, I agree with Walan that site projects are getting crazy, but for a different reason. Everyone thinks that they can run one. There are so many here that it is just hilarious. When I created mine, only 4 or so were out, and I wanted something unique to join the ranks of site projects to add more flavor to it and not just make it a "remixing" project. When I saw Chrono Symphonic, it inspired me even more. A remix project that had a theme like it did was pretty cool. Now you see everyone and their grandmother thinking that they can run a site project. Worst part is, is that they are so god damn plain. Make them interesting at least. Show off your creativity skills, not just be a carbon copy of the style of KiC. How saddening is that. Suzu, tell me if you are looking for a mod over there. I would always be willing to support and help out you guys, considering that unfortunately I can't here cause I am a "hot head" and obviously very unfair and biased. /scarasm See you guys at the lockdown!

What a HORRIBLE game to chose to be the one that debut's them together in the same game. Stupid decision on both parts. This better be a April fool's joke.

Also, nintendo isn't stupid enough to have this of all games be the one where they both face off. Smash, if anything, will be the one where you see these two icons square off for the first time. Ah....earemix. God that was great. Gendisc was eating it up, and unmod was having a blast in it's own way too. All around a beautiful day. EVERYONE got involved, and there was no drama, save for of course the people that believed ea took it. The ending, oh my god, was absolutely priceless. Whoever thought of that, bravo at you. Having a note that EA gave ocr a cease and desist because of the copyright issue over the joke was just the icing on the cake. A HUGE uproar was caused, and even then it was still great and not crazy. Ah, those were the days... Hey, I can say that, considering I was still new around that time.

This is worse than ocr's april fools joke last year. Both are shitty in quality, and you are a bit on the "internet is srs biznes" side if you believe them. With that note, I am hoping the joke for april fools this year at ocr is on par with 05. 05 was just fucking brilliant.
