  1. Try planting more flowers and trees. And make sure there's no trash or weeds or anything on the ground. Thanks. A friend said something about needing at least 3 flowers in each "acre", so that's probably it. Also note that you can never have too many flowers in your town (according to a FAQ I read). That is, if every spot you can walk on in your town has flowers on it, no one will complain about it, so plant new ones every day.
  2. I figured messing around with the time/date in the GC Animal Crossing would cause it to glitch because it keeps track of the days played. Since Wild World doesn't do that, you can time travel and the only damage done would be weeds, cockroaches and angry neighbors.
  3. One time when I lost a Flower Fest, I went back in time by 1 day, planted flowers in a big square shape, skipped ahead a day and I won. The guy who won before me moved away the next day. What a sore loser. D: Try it.
  4. How do you get those anyway? If I recall, you downloaded them at a Toys R Us or something. If so, then boo; I'd rather not spend time and gasoline for a game other than to get the game itself. If I can get those items via AR, I'll use that.
  5. Combined sales for Pokemon Diamond/Pearl in Japan reached well over 1.5 million in its first week. In an unrelated note, I got Megaman ZX a few days ago. I beat the game on Easy setting and now I'm doing Normal mode; awesome game with awesome music. However, I'm a bit disappointed at how little the touch screen is used. Using the X button to transform gets tedious at times, and for this reason I'd prefer if transforming could be done by tapping icons on the touch screen.
  6. Agreed. If I recall, it was some guy who worked for Atari who said the price of the PSP would be as high as $500.
  7. I keep my games in their cases. They're too easy to misplace.
  8. When breeding, the resulting pokemon is of the youngest evolutionary form of the mother. In this case, you'd get a Pichu and nothing else. This is why Ditto is so useful. The resulting pokemon will be the earliest form of the Ditto's mate, regardless of gender. Breed it with an Electabuzz to get an Elekid, etc. There are exceptions though. For example, you can't breed two Dittos to hatch another Ditto, and the same is true for legendary pokemon. Edit: jack'd (sorta); I take too long to type. :/
  9. If you can catch a Ditto, you can use it to breed with almost any pokemon. That was the case in gold/silver/crystal. Most of my egg-raised pokemon in my gold version came from a single Ditto. (lol what a slut) Diamond/Pearl will continue this feature, right?
  10. I haven't tried the game for myself, but the general opinion on it is the same in many sites: it sucks. Why couldn't Square Enix make a true sequel to Super Mario RPG instead?
  11. I'm not a Megaman fan (although I played that one Megaman game on a friend's PSP and enjoyed it quite a bit), ZX sounds like a very kickass game. Should I get it?
  12. Japan's weekly software sales 8/21 - 8/27 I normally don't care much for this kind of info because it means nothing in the long run, but seeing the whole top 10 list occupied by only DS games made me go O_O; wow.
  13. Star Fox Command scored an 81% at Game Rankings. Not bad, but I still have doubts. Still, I might consider getting it now.
  14. I'll share videos if I can somehow record them. All you need is a TV tuner card for your PC. It costs about $50. With it, you can hook up your GCN to your PC and use the record option to record video. The picture and sound quality will depend on your video and sound cards, but it still gets the job done. We tried a TV tuner card before, it didn't work too well because of the split second of lag between what you input and what appears on the screen. (Things like the SWD and the double laser have a 1-2 frame window!) I use an Ati TV Wonder Ve. Except for the picture quality, it works pretty good for me. I don't notice any lag at all, even during heated melee matches.

  16. Wario's Super Duper Ass Blast of DOOM FTW. Regarding speculation of as yet unseen supermoves...let's see, Metaknight's could be that twister beam thing he used in Kirby Super Star that sweeps the arena. DK's (he'll be returning in this game, right?) could be an upgraded Spinning Kong attack in which he spins so fast that he turns into a twister. Pikachu's would be an uber-sized Thunder attack. As for Pit and Snake, I haven't played any of their games, so I got nothing.
  17. Both the video and the IGN article pretty much confirm for me that Star Fox Command is really gonna suck. Each new game seems to stray farther away from what made Star Fox 64 so awesome. In that regard, Star Fox is Nintendo's Sonic the Hedgehog. As with any game, I should reserve my judgement until I try it for myself, but so far the game looks very not fun.
  18. Bump. If this is old, I apologize. Nintendo DS headset revealed It's about fucking time. Although, only MPH and, in the future, Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam are games that I know of that have/will have VoIP support which will put this accessory to good use. For other games that use the mic, it'll mean less spittle on the screens. At $9 US (or more if you plan to import one), it's not a very risky investment. I have a splitter, so if it has just the one earphone shown in the image instead of two, I'll likely get one.
  19. I thank you for this. I lost interest in Pokemon after the gold version, but this news brought it back. I plan on getting the game now.
  20. I'm eager to use Wario's atomic fart attack near a pile of bob-ombs.
  21. For those of you who want to see something weird done in SSBM, look at this. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5698408923927326067&q Notice that several glitches are exploited (such as infinite Super Scope ammo) to create that big one later on. Also, lower the volume, the sound is crap.
  22. I think we'll have to wait for a Game Boy with an analog stick. Super Smash Bros. isn't anything without the smashing. Double-tap. Press on the D-pad once for regular, double-tap for smash. Kirby Super Star and Castlevania: CotM used it rather well (only for dashing, though), so I don't see how or why it wouldn't be used in a SSB game for DS.
  23. Greetings, everyone! I've been visiting these boards for months now but just recently started an account so I can start posting. As a good citizen, I'll be doing my part to follow the rules, be a good poster, and all that.
