well steam said that it was released on the 7th but after i bought it it told me it wasnt getting released until the 13th or something and i was pretty mad

i dunno i sat on the server for 15 minutes and everyone that joined got immediately disconnected but i think that stopped

they forgot to add in something in those update notes -only atmuh can connect to servers everyone else gets disconnected right away

how come no one told me this game came out today

well yesterday i decided to hop on ocr and another old server i used to play on for an hour each and on ocr i was on top the whole time and on the other i could barely scratch a 1:1 which is pretty much exactly like it used to be

yeah most are worse than the vanilla counterpart but compensate by assisting people that are worse to a degree which i cant stand fan is one that used to be like this but basically nowadays the fan is allaround worse but yeah as was stated before backburner natascha huntsman plus targe eyelander razorback (kinda but not really) dead ringer sandman (used to be but isnt anymore either really) direct hit ocr has a small core of solid players but after that the dropoff in skill is ridiculous if by pub servers (ocr is a pub dur) you mean some 24/7 [insert map here] server than yeah those are the worst because those are almost always comprised of random people that rarely play together, not of a set group of regulars if you move onto servers that HAVE set groups of regulars ocr is pretty low from my experience

because you dont have to aim it at all?

oh look perfect example if you can aim at all you dont need natascha to kill scouts

and yet the scout and sniper classes exist

competitive play isnt the issue here the unlocks make pubbing a lot less fun for people that have actually taken the time to improve their skill only to have the people who dont be the ones rewarded by valve and sure they add a new dimension to the game except that dimension is just STUPIDITY

can we do this with 5 second clips of songs that could be fun

sure ive got one itll make the game even easier for less skilled players like every other update actually nevermind engineer does that already but im sure valve could take it a step further

obviously i knew that and if youre so concerned about it add 1 simple line to block it

no because first off if people are going to go that route theyre going to use the sourcemod exploit to turn wireframe mode on and be able to see everything and second off if you go to the most common public places for tf2 cheats absolutely everything they they host i block incidentally they also host the generic bypasser which is still not detectable by VAC as long as they do it right and if they use that they can go ahead and make any server sv_pure 0 on their side but yeah if someones going to go that length so as to change every wall texture so they can see through it (which becomes incredibly difficult to play on because youd have to scale each individual one to know where the wall actually begins so you know where the heck you are) then chances are theyre going to have no problem loading up the generic bypasser to be able to use it no matter what but yeah no one does that edit and wall textures arent in the hud or sound folder if you wanna block those you can go ahead and do that too theyre in a completely different place so i dont explicitly allow them

what else would you possible wanna block it specifically ensures that the exact ones that people use to cheat are blocked and that nothing else is so that those people that use those wacky (i have no idea why youd use these) BEES or RAINBOW FIRE or WHATEVER sounds are allowed to use them as they give no advantage at all it also allows custom huds (on of which ive made and i know people use) which pose no problem to anything as the only real cheating huds are sniper huds if people wanna do CRAZY huds they can do it in the resource folder and sv_pure cant block that at all
