Check out the GoldenEye: Source soundtrack, most of which was done by our very own Audix/Sole Signal: http://www.moddb.com/mods/goldeneye-source/downloads
Thanks for the promo!
I actually just uploaded my single tracks in easily downloadable format on my site:

I had my Ocean Palace remix about 80% completed when it froze while trying to save. Somehow the .flp was corrupted and I lost everything. Thankfully, the recreation of the track still turned out great and became an OCRemix, Aqueous Transgression. Since then I always have multiple saves of significant tracks.

Great work, keep the mixes coming. Loving this.

Link seems to be broken.

TEASER: Updated TWO+ YEARS later:

Just about done; I still have to build a decent intro. And I don't want to give away the big section at the end, so that's why it fades out.

I actually might buy the one that sole signal posted a link to. Doesn't seem like it would be too bad.
I just bought it a few days ago. I really needed a laptop to give me mobile capability with web/image/video software; games are just a bonus.
I've tried a few older games on it; Halo and Battlefront 2 ran perfectly at max settings and max reso. Age of Empires 3 has some slowdown when there's a full screen battle going on but there are documented issues with it and Windows 7, so that may not be the best indicator. Haven't tried any orange box yet.

This is one of the better deals I've found at the big box level:
$600 for 4 gig of DDR3, Intel Dual 2.2 ghz, and a 500 gig HD. I won't be gaming on it, but some of the reviews claim good performance on a number of games.
-
Congratulations man, best wishes to you two!

Here's one of sorts.
-
Thanks for the link; I had not heard this yet. That'll be the day when while making music, we'll be able to pan up and down as well and left and right.
-
Apparently I have four referrals on my profile and I have not a clue who they might be.
-
May be a little too epic, but see whatcha think:
-
Fantastic mix. It's been fun listening to your progress from your old WIPs and getting more and more polished. Great work!
-
EDIT: Fixed it for now. Hopefully it lasts.

this is correct. there is no way/point to go from the early 360s to an HDMI without an expensive converter. composite and component are analog cables, hdmi is (in the name!) digital. you'd need something to convert the signals, but there's no gain in visual quality.
Right. I guess what I should have said is that I just need the audio dongle:
Do you have this?
-
Does that include a 360 to HDMI cable?so i've got a buttload of 360 cables and parts... -
This is great, and needs more attention here. Nice use of the CT source on track 11.
-
I haven't checked many mixes on the front page for a while, but I'm glad I stopped to listen to this one.
Very cool track, and great guitar work especially. Nice job!

Ronald Jenkees is extremely popular, and classifies himself as hip hop. He tends to solo (awesomely) on top of his beats, but you may be able to get some ideas.

As you can see, I did decide on the capitals. New logo in my sig too.Capitalized. -
Good question. The final decision was made lounging at a local coffee shop, after whittling down three pages of scribbles to a few possibilities.
We looked through everything for a few weeks until I came up with the word "signal": dictionaries, thesauruses, Biblical concordances, advice from OCR folks, random band name generators.
When I first started looking, I was thinking something much more abstract of a word--even to the point of creating a new word by meshing different ideas together. Then I came across "signal" and thought it was perfect for an electronic artist. The "sole" creates a double meaning; it's a play on both Christian themes and the more obvious connotation of it being "the" music to listen to.
The soul/sole thing is the only thing that could cause minor confusion but I like the "a-ha!" moments that it creates (just like Neko mentioned), and it's also worth it for the meaning behind it.
Still haven't decided if I want "sole signal" or "Sole Signal" here at OCR.
-
That's a really cool idea, and about the price I'd expect for that. May look into something like that sometime; thanks for the link.
-
Hope you like it..Welp, just gave me a reason to get your CD at last!
Oh cool. Good to see that that track is getting its way around. It will take some time for the transition to be complete, and I appreciate everyone who helps spread the word.Sole Signal is pretty badass. Unfortunately, this change came up long after Larry and I recorded the newest episode (released just today) of our podcast where we played "Time to Brawl", so whoops. We'll be sure to mention it the next time we're able to. I was at least able to correctly reflect the change in the shownotes.
