Well I think that the PSP version could go
I have a Wii, but when I want to try a game that has good remakes, I prefer trying the remake than the original. Thanks
-
Oook thanks, I don't think I will get the soundtrack, I'm from Europe, and I still don't know if I would like it
-
Yeah in fact my indecision was more about "DS or PSP?".
I've not so much problems emulating something for the right cause, but I think that's a little off topic
-
Hi all, I never approached the Ys series, but I'm interested in trying it, so I've decided to take a remake of the first 2 episodes.
There are many versions, but probably the DS or the PSP ones are the better (because are the newest).
Anyone knows the series enough to help me?
-
At 0:25 it almost seems like you melted a little of "Get a Weapon" from Mega Man 3
-
... I dont see how this applies to the Final Fantasy games.
Most of them are so diffrent form each other anyway. 7 and 8 are the most close to each other, apart from sequels.
Yeah but there's a big difference between X and XI (and between XIII and XIV). Maybe the online will be the future of FF? Or maybe they'll change genre again? Or maybe the saga is DEAD.

I've read the topic in "judges decisions", now I understand why it took so much to being accepted (or refused).
Anyway, I like the track, but I need to listen it more deeply, maybe next time I will charge my iPod:wink:.
It's great hear that he was 14 years old, who knows what remixes will come from him in the future:-P.
-
Nice choice:wink:

I've read an article on a site that says that this will be the last Final Fantasy of its kind. Anyway, I think that the series is dead after X.
-
I thought Minish Cap did that already.
Aw, I missed that...
-
Maybe this time we'll see the Master Sword's origin...
-
It happens, but I usually don't listen a soundtrack for a game that I plan to play before beating it at least once.
Anyway, I like to watch/listen the "The Music of Video Games" playlists on YouTube, there are many game that I will never play that have a good soundtrack.
To tell you the truth, it's easier for me to listen a remix from a game that I have never heard about than its original soundtrack...
Another thing: I think that if a game has a lot of remixes (or an entire project) dedicated to it, is surely a game that deserves attention, at least for its soundtrack
.
-
Yeah, I'm curious to hear it too...
-
Yes we do! Maybe just not at this time or for this project. I mean come on! A good chunk of the soundtrack has the potential to be re-done with a Primo flavour since it's got alot of hip-hop-ish sound and rythum to it.
I just can't stand hip hop...even if is videogame music...
-
We need the EarthBound rap !
No, we don't
-
Oh jesus only imagining a time trail of that game's section makes me feel frustrated XD . I'm happy that are players good enough to enjoy all the challenges
.
Anyone tryed no death mode? How it works?
-
Mmm I think that the title should be chosen by you, because it must correspond to the "feelings" of the composer, but anyway..
The only title that cames in my mind now is something like "Spinning in space".
-
it seems like it would be too short to charge $15 for it.
Yeah, it is in my opinion, unless you are a very skilled (and masochist) player
; there's a couple of time trails and a "no death mode" among the extras, but they seem too difficult for me...
-
I don't mind if it get delayed, the only thing that matters is if will be a masterpiece or not
-
The Only one I needed help on was "Prize for the Reckless". Felt kind of dumb not figuring that one out.
Yeah, I had the same problem...
Vvvvvv for Vvvvvvendettalol
Also, that "you can only flip the gravity" description is a bit misleading; you can still control the character the way you would in a standard side-scroller (i.e. moving left and right).
Yeah, sure...I didn't write more because my english is not perfect
anyway I think anyone that will try the demo will figure it, that's why I left the link
Currently finished my first playthrough with 15/20 trinkets, and will definitely go back for the remainder of them.Go go go go, there are some more challenges if you take them all
-
I love the "chorus" in that song. A remix of it would be awesome.
There's a track that says V several times
-
I'm definitely considering buying this, or at least the soundtrack.
To tell you the truth, I think that the soundtrack actually is worth the 4$ more than the full game is worth his 15$.
And you know why? Because it's a little short...Braid is cheaper, and ok, it's short too, but less then VVVVVV (and Braid is a fucking masterpiece).
Anyway, the gameplay is really addicting, and there are some stages (like
) that are really challenging. I love it -
VVVVVV is a strange title, huh?
Have you ever played this amazing indie game? It's a strange platformer where you can only flip the gravity; the graphics are 8 bit (Commodore style) but it has been relased only a week ago.
It has a great level design, a map and free exploration Metroid style, and its soundtrack is just superb (maybe I should request some remixes from it
).

Try the demo here:
http://www.kongregate.com/games/TerryCavanagh/vvvvvv-demo
It's a little short, but really entertaining.
-
Never played the game, but I plan to do it...
I'll download the soundtrack for when I've beaten it
Ys I & II, wich is the best remake?
