I definitely have Mr. Uematsu to thank for my interest in video game music, or rather, music in general. It would be a thrill to get the chance to meet him in person. Ever since the VGL concert, I've been waiting for another to come around my area; I'll definitely try to go to this one whether I win or not.

I regret not buying tickets for the Saturday show. I saw the OCRemix group there, but felt too anxious to join for whatever reason. I thought the other cosplayers had pretty good costumes too (I sat next to the songstress Yuna cosplayer). Somehow, I managed to buy seats that were directly behind Emmanuel Fratianni, Laurie Robinson, and Christopher Tin. I felt pretty stupid for not realizing who they were until Tommy asked them to stand up and be recognized.

I'm a senior undergrad percussionist at the Catholic University of America in D.C. I'm working on my Music B.A. in the school of Arts and Sciences, but I don't plan on continuing after graduation. I've always wanted to compose as a hobby; I might do that whenever I get the money for equipment.

22. This is my first character, so I'm still learning the intricacies of the game...or non-intricacies, judging from some of your comments. Even with my limited experience, I had to agree on some of the points made in that thread. The Warlock class seems to be much more DOT-focused than a debuff class, which is what I initally expected. I've heard some relate to it as a solo class, which is possible to a certain extent, I guess. I'm horrible at controlling my aggro, so a lot of my solo efforts inevitably end in corpse runs.

I just recently re-activated my account. I'm an Undead Warlock by the name of Vairnoul on the Dark Iron server. I've just hit a nasty snag, as I can't seem to get any quests done by myself, nor find anyone to help. I probably just don't know what I'm doing. Much more practice is needed on my part.

Hey everybody. I've enjoyed the remixes on this site for a long time, but never really took the time to visit these forums. There's a great community here, so I'm glad to join the group. I'm a 19 year-old college sophomore in Maryland, working on my Bachelor of Music. I like almost any type of music; my musical library is primarily instrumental in nature, such as classical, game soundtracks, percussion pieces (which happens to be my instrument), things of that sort. Video game-wise, I'm open to anything except sports games. I enjoy anime too, so that's something else to mention. Well, I lead a generally boring life, so that's about it. See you around the boards.
