Once again people are using this contest to discourage musicians and stating that their favourite genre (piano ballads, orchestrations or whatever self proclaimed "1337" music they prefer) is the only worthy, and therefore ruins the contest. "Normal" is exactly what I don't want a remix to be. Rexy is really skilled and I want him in my closet so he could help me once in a while, but... that kind of music is kind of boring to me. Few surprises or experimenting, too mellow and nothing special to remember. Don't misunderstand, his remix were truly professional and beautiful, absolutely nothing I could've done, but not original at all IMO.

How much of the source is required? Almost done, but I can count the notes I used from the source on both of my hands

mpeg2? Mod is a file made in trackers like FastTracker or on an Amiga. Search for mod player or get MadTracker 2 (www.madtracker.org) so you can see all the notes. Kids these days...

Hm, maybe time that I try one of these thingies. Too lazy too read, when is deadline? Emm... no trance, techno or DnB... that's creepy. I'd like to give a shot on Can You Fly anyway.

I did a similar remix for this weeks PRC-compo (http://compo.thasauce.net/rounds/view/PRC138), and thought it was really nice, but yours is better It has a major flaw though, the kick, bass and some fx drows it totally sometimes, causing some bad noices. Simply lowering the volume should make it. Otherwise really great, haven't heard the source though.

Yeah, hardstyle is awesome You're right, that "pre-kick" or what you say is just something I put there for now, I'll change that when I try to to finish this track. It's gonna be finished, this is just a test (my first actually) of how able I am of creating this style. My wish is to make a vgremix in hardstyle
