Never thought of that - might give Machinima a gander. edit That sucks for your friend. I had a glitch where I returned to Anachronox from Sender Station 1 - game would not allow me to return to the station thereafter...the other glitches are just difficult to describe without me typing out a wall of text haha.
-
Another big 1 for me was Anachronox. Friggin' loved the story in that game, but it's so riddled with bugs and glitches that not even a GOG.com port could fix 'em. I can't even fully describe how bad they were, it's just too painful =(
-
Soul Reaver - LOVED the starting cinematic, but I can only will myself to get up to the spider vampire boss - it just doesn't keep me interested long enough. The voice actor, Tony Jay was bad-ass as the Elder-God. Wild Arms 2 - Yeah I might get a lot of fan hate here. Wild Arms 2 to me is like 1/10 the awesomeness of Wild Arms 1. The only thing keeping me going was the cool music, ironically - the enemies just didn't scale up fast enough to my damage output so everything just exploded - even bosses; so I gave up about half way in. Very disappointed with that title. But I do hold hope for WA 3,4 & 5 And am thinking of getting the PS2 remake of WA 1 Breath of Fire 4 - Story wasn't compelling enough to keep me going. It was too dark and gloomy, like they tried way too hard to be serious all the time (except for the very starting when Nina finds the Hero). I got to the Empire Continent thingy and felt like I had progressed nowhere, considering I put in more than 40 hours >.< Final Fantasy 5 - I actually like that one and may return to it someday to beat it. Just found the grinding of job skills to be too much (and yet I bought Bravely Default - which is ALSO on hold progress-wise lol) Tales of the Abyss: The only Tales series game I tried. Never want to return to this series after slogging through it for so long. All of the characters were flat as paper - except for maybe the main char...the game felt painfully padded out after the halfway point. Maybe this was the weakest link of the series to get into idk >.< Silent Hill: Downpour: SH + quick time events = %@&% NO I got to the final segment in the jail and just went BLEH. Hate that game with a passion. I'd rather play SH4: The Room. Hell, even Home Coming was better; well actually a lot better, because it still had Akira Yamaoka. But 1, 2 and 3 blow them all out of the water =p And there are likely many others that I have forgotten.

I was thinking of either taking 1 of the dungeon themes or Memories. I'll work on some wip ideas and see what clicks best. I got my eye on this one for sure

Compo: MnP (Meat 'n Potatoes) Round 18: Raiden 2 - Stage 1 Midi Starts: 20/06/2014 Ends: 02/07/2014 2pm Wed Vote Ends: 04/07/2014 8pm Fri Submit your remix Here when completed. **If you have technical difficulty with account activation at ThaSauce, please contact Ramaniscence via pm** MISSION STATEMENT The goal of Compo:MnP is to promote that "meat and potatoes" conservative approach to remixing: this includes the mood and composition of source tunes. It is up to the remixer to create their own personalization, or to simply give it a sound upgrade. Moreover, the compo is a great opportunity to hone your remixing skills and give video game music the respect that is due. A modicum of originality is recommended, but not required. All competitors and voters must adhere to the rules stated within: Competition Code and Conduct * MnP Instructions 1. Covers and Sound Upgrades are permitted. 2. Any genre is acceptable, so long as you can still capture the source tune's mood and a good chunk of the notation. Orchestration turned into Achapella, for instance, would be a hard sell... 3. Submissions must be at a maximum of 20mb (keeping in step with ThaSauce's file size max). 4. Only 1 entry per participant. 5. Previous winner cannot participate, but can submit a bonus, as well as have a vote that counts 2x 6. Submission must be made specifically for this competition, otherwise it will have to be a bonus track. Taking an old idea of yours and heavily revising it is permissible. Example Tracks: FF7_SonOfChaos, SMW_Monstrous_Turtles, Hitman_Contract_Cleaner, MISC/TIPS - When picking a source tune, make sure it has a MIDI to make ppl's lives easier. - In-game sound FX are permitted, so long as they don't comprise the whole track (i.e. replacing entire MIDI tracks with just sfx) - Certain sad or moody source tunes don't have drums or percussion for a reason. So keeping it that way may be the easiest way to retain much of the original feel, such as and

Crap I can't submit more than 1 entry lol. Here...I'll leave the compo "due-date" open so you can submit it yourself and put in whatever you like. I'll keep it open for a week so you'll have lots of time to submit it =p Lemme know when you've done so. Thanks!! Do the format as (Bonus)Title
-

You can make something for it later if you like. I'll add it in as a Bonus track -
Due to there being a new (and awesome) competition looming over the horizon, I may extend this round up to 3 weeks, unless I get a surprise splurge of participants.

Could use another vote or 2, I wouldn't feel comfortable being the only 1 to decide who should win. (participant votes won't count due to there being only 2 ppl) -
Maybe after you updated FL studio or a little thereafter??
