  1. TICKETS BOUGHT. With tax, they come to $26.54 a pop. If any of you want to pay me via Paypal instead of waiting till Sunday to give me money, shoot it to jingajin@gmail.com. For those of you that didn't already get PM's from me here or on IRC, I need to type everybody's RL names onto the tickets before I print them, and a few of you (specifically Moguta and his friend, Ferret, Bahamut's roommate, and Brushfire's imaginary wife) I don't know the actual names of, so I'll need them ASAP.

As far as park meetup goes, the parking lot is pretty straightforward, so I suggest when we reach the park, we all meet in front of Guest Services, which is the booth just to the right of the normal ticket booths, and pretty hard to miss. I'll hand the tickets out to everyone there. Is 10:30am (right when the park opens) too early to meet there? What do you all think?

    Money sent.
  2. If I'd have to guess, the water park stuff would be later in the afternoon when it's hotter. Also it's not a good idea for us to do the water stuff right after lunch.

Well unless you're in the wave pool the entire time, we should be ok. Besides the wave pool, most of the water park "rides" had lines of 5-10 min.

Kizyr - sounds good to me if you're up for it (getting a ride with you)

    Ditto pally ol' pal.

  3. Well for those who are in NoVA, there's a solid diner right by where I live if they want to stop by before heading towards the place (no clue where it is) - however, traffic here blows...

And you can count me in!

Orrr we decide who wants to drive and have them pick us all up, since like you said, parking can suck.

Is there a definite time for lunch + plan to go to the water park after lunch? I was thinking, maybe I could just go for part of the day and join you guys for lunch and the water park, since I'm not really interested in the rides. I just want to see everybody and hang out, basically. ^_^ (BTW if I am doing that, I don't have a preference on where to do lunch since vegan = pretty much screwed, so I'd probably just eat before going.)

There's foodstuffs by where the water park and amusement park meet. Snap that's this Sunday..

  4. ^ Yeah a normal shaped D pad is more ideal for old school gaming imo. Since I have a PS3 and would thus be free, I think I'm going to try to sync it up. I downloaded GamePad Companion http://www.carvware.com/ and get some response, but still nothing on ZSNES. *edit* I figured it out, just had to assign the buttons to the controller. The GamePad Companion works great! Free too. Guess I'll use this for now.

  5. Ah yes, thanks guys I see it now. Yeah it was late and I guess I didn't look hard enough. I guess now my debate is either to get a controller that's good for any emulator I might play or a USB controller adapter and as authentic a controller as possible. But I have heard of lag issues with the adapters.

I haven't started playing N64 or PSX emulators yet but I feel it's only a matter of time. Maybe a USB PS2 controller or the 360 controller are the best after all. The d-pad on ps2 controllers are nice.

  6. I've been reliving my childhood as of late playing some SNES and NES emulators (ZSNES and Nestopia respectively) and now desire to use an actual controller instead of the keyboard. I've done some googling but I found it hard to find controllers with a turbo feature. It's for a Macbook Pro laptop, but I'm sure any PC controller will work. I've heard the xbox 360 controller works well, but again, I'd like the turbo for those pesky button-mashers.

I've seen these USB controller adapters and might consider one of those if my old turbo SNES controller still works. I know on Nestopia, you can assign certain buttons to be turbo, but I haven't figured that out on ZSNES. I'd want something simpler like the old school turbo switch anyway. What do you guys use or recommend?

  7. Great to see y'all before i left! I don't know how many of you heard, but right after i got back to baltimore, my loaded-up car was broken into and the backpack with my laptop, external hd, soundcard, mixing headphones, wacom tablet, laptop stand, and wireless keyboard/mouse duo we're stolen. However, lots of stuff was left untouched (like my games, vibraphone, and marimba!), so i have that to be thankful for. Guess it'll be a little while before im mixing again!

Oh my goodness, that sucks man...Did your car have an alarm? If not, it's probably the greatest investment any car could have and I highly recommend getting one. You seem to be in good spirits. Though I don't know how. That's so shitty :x

  8. I was wondering if I could hitch a ride back to Arlington to those in the city? If my sister comes down I was thinking of car pooling the two of us to BBQ so she can just leave from there to go back to Delaware. If Bahamut or anyone else can possibly do that, I'd appreciate it.

  9. He has okay taste in beer, in my book.

Yeah when he started popping Yuenglings every now and then. I'm trying to pace myself and space out catching up on his episodes, but it's hard because they're so addicting. Now and for a couple years he's been doing the shows in Philly. We should get him to come to one of our meets.

  10. There's lots of ground bone in the cheaper burger joint meats. This is what my friend tells me, anyway. He and his wife work in meat.

Hence the different grades of meat I guess. It's one of those things I think were ignorance is bliss. I could look up what all the grades are and who uses what but I might ruin my favorite foods. I do love Taco Bell.

PS3 also does rip offs itself!

(this image predates playstation move by like 2-3 years too lmao)

Well to be fair too, the new black wii and accessories looks a lot like the Playstation color scheme.

  11. c'mon dude not that hard to find

I'm a busy man, but thanks. Seemed Sony was just milking him for his recent ads.

The Burger King ones also usually have BONES in them. I despise the idea of getting burger king brand double cheeseburger because of the bones. It would be like eating Bumblebee Tuna and dying of an infected mouf. So let TV3 have their version. I actually thought theirs had more personality. SO THERE.

wtf bones? When I go to BK, I usually don't get those anyway.
