If I'd have to guess, the water park stuff would be later in the afternoon when it's hotter. Also it's not a good idea for us to do the water stuff right after lunch.
Well unless you're in the wave pool the entire time, we should be ok. Besides the wave pool, most of the water park "rides" had lines of 5-10 min.
Kizyr - sounds good to me if you're up for it (getting a ride with you)Ditto pally ol' pal.

Well for those who are in NoVA, there's a solid diner right by where I live if they want to stop by before heading towards the place (no clue where it is) - however, traffic here blows...
And you can count me in!
Orrr we decide who wants to drive and have them pick us all up, since like you said, parking can suck.
Is there a definite time for lunch + plan to go to the water park after lunch? I was thinking, maybe I could just go for part of the day and join you guys for lunch and the water park, since I'm not really interested in the rides. I just want to see everybody and hang out, basically. (BTW if I am doing that, I don't have a preference on where to do lunch since vegan = pretty much screwed, so I'd probably just eat before going.)There's foodstuffs by where the water park and amusement park meet. Snap that's this Sunday..

Damn that's badass.

I'm definitely going to go if my funds allow it.

Holy shit, I rented this over 10 years ago when it was actually available to be rented, and even then I really liked the music to this game. Good luck!

^ Yeah a normal shaped D pad is more ideal for old school gaming imo. Since I have a PS3 and would thus be free, I think I'm going to try to sync it up. I downloaded GamePad Companion http://www.carvware.com/ and get some response, but still nothing on ZSNES. *edit* I figured it out, just had to assign the buttons to the controller. The GamePad Companion works great! Free too. Guess I'll use this for now.

Ah yes, thanks guys I see it now. Yeah it was late and I guess I didn't look hard enough. I guess now my debate is either to get a controller that's good for any emulator I might play or a USB controller adapter and as authentic a controller as possible. But I have heard of lag issues with the adapters.
I haven't started playing N64 or PSX emulators yet but I feel it's only a matter of time. Maybe a USB PS2 controller or the 360 controller are the best after all. The d-pad on ps2 controllers are nice.

I've been reliving my childhood as of late playing some SNES and NES emulators (ZSNES and Nestopia respectively) and now desire to use an actual controller instead of the keyboard. I've done some googling but I found it hard to find controllers with a turbo feature. It's for a Macbook Pro laptop, but I'm sure any PC controller will work. I've heard the xbox 360 controller works well, but again, I'd like the turbo for those pesky button-mashers.
I've seen these USB controller adapters and might consider one of those if my old turbo SNES controller still works. I know on Nestopia, you can assign certain buttons to be turbo, but I haven't figured that out on ZSNES. I'd want something simpler like the old school turbo switch anyway. What do you guys use or recommend?

Great to see y'all before i left! I don't know how many of you heard, but right after i got back to baltimore, my loaded-up car was broken into and the backpack with my laptop, external hd, soundcard, mixing headphones, wacom tablet, laptop stand, and wireless keyboard/mouse duo we're stolen. However, lots of stuff was left untouched (like my games, vibraphone, and marimba!), so i have that to be thankful for. Guess it'll be a little while before im mixing again!
Oh my goodness, that sucks man...Did your car have an alarm? If not, it's probably the greatest investment any car could have and I highly recommend getting one. You seem to be in good spirits. Though I don't know how. That's so shitty

Definitely one of favorite remixes.

From Stevo's place to Arlington? I can give you a ride, no problem. KF
That's awesome, thanks bub.

I was wondering if I could hitch a ride back to Arlington to those in the city? If my sister comes down I was thinking of car pooling the two of us to BBQ so she can just leave from there to go back to Delaware. If Bahamut or anyone else can possibly do that, I'd appreciate it.

I'll try to make an appearance... but that's the day my dad comes to help me load up the car and pack my apartment. I move to kansas the next morning
Snap. Where at? I lived in Wichita for over 3 years.

Oh man, I wanna go... but I don't think I'll be able too
BS, you're so close

A friend of mine uses "Monstrous Turtles!" as a ringtone. Always fun to hear zircon's work when he gets a new message
I use this as my Halloween ringtone, when the organ comes in and plays the castle theme.
/thread
Haha my brother uses a shorter version of that as his text tone on his Droid. He's got some reactions from it too.

I've used many in the past and switch it up to suit the holiday, but currently I'm using Hi, Score! (Ranking Display) by Shael Riley from the Blood on the Asphalt album. I start it right from the beginning. It's pretty dope.

He has okay taste in beer, in my book.
Yeah when he started popping Yuenglings every now and then. I'm trying to pace myself and space out catching up on his episodes, but it's hard because they're so addicting. Now and for a couple years he's been doing the shows in Philly. We should get him to come to one of our meets.

Just so it's clear, Sunday August 29th works out for me all the same; either day on the weekend is good.
I can provide transportation from Arlington (Crystal City), but... Maryland is a bit too far out of the way to drive up and back down. KF
Cool, I'm right off the apartments on Army-Navy Dr.

So the date is now August 28? That's the same date as Comic Con Baltimore (28-29) Not that I care, I just wanted to mention that.

There's lots of ground bone in the cheaper burger joint meats. This is what my friend tells me, anyway. He and his wife work in meat.
Hence the different grades of meat I guess. It's one of those things I think were ignorance is bliss. I could look up what all the grades are and who uses what but I might ruin my favorite foods. I do love Taco Bell.
PS3 also does rip offs itself!(this image predates playstation move by like 2-3 years too lmao)
Well to be fair too, the new black wii and accessories looks a lot like the Playstation color scheme.

c'mon dude not that hard to find
I'm a busy man, but thanks. Seemed Sony was just milking him for his recent ads.
The Burger King ones also usually have BONES in them. I despise the idea of getting burger king brand double cheeseburger because of the bones. It would be like eating Bumblebee Tuna and dying of an infected mouf. So let TV3 have their version. I actually thought theirs had more personality. SO THERE.wtf bones? When I go to BK, I usually don't get those anyway.

perhaps it shows how little I know about sony but I actually thought that he was a big part of the company
that awkward-as-hell speech he did for sony's e3 conference did nothing to dispel this misbelief of mine
Link to said speech?
