  1. Hell, Miyamoto wasn't even involved with Mario Land 2, and that one is phenomenal. He's even said as much himself. Also did anyone notice that the Tanooki Suit returns as well?
  2. HA! Look who's talking. Anywho, I really can't wait to hear more about this. Or maybe to hear more music from it. Shimomura~ <3
  3. As they've said many times before, Agni's Philosophy was a tech demo. Just like the FF7 tech demo for PS3. Nothing more.
  4. Considering we've already seen the battle system, and since we've known for years (literally) that it was gonna be akin to KH's... yeah don't think that's happening. Hell there's a trailer out that's dedicated purely to gameplay.
  5. K.K. doesn't show up until the Club LOL opens up, which happens only after Nookling Junction upgrades into T&T Mart.
  6. to be fair, crowbar man has also been antagonistic during this whole deal as well. also i came across my wonderful 101 impressions and got hyped for that game again IT WAS SO GOOOOD
  7. Exactamundo. Also, there's a shareholder's meeting on the 27th. We got our first shots at what became Return to Dream Land from a similar meeting, perhaps this one will also yield some surprises.
  8. I forgot to mention the Virtual Boy that I got.
  9. I think it's because you actually have to unlock various stores and stuff. It really keeps interest going. Also a few tips. -If you talk to Isabelle and choose the first option (the advice one) and keep doing what she tells you, at the end she'll give you a watering can. -Talk to Sable EVERY DAY. She's the one on the sewing machine in the Able Sisters shop. After 10 days of this, you'll unlock the QR code machine. If you just wait 10 days and don't talk to her, you won't get it. And without that, the QR codes we'll inevitably be sharing via this topic will be useless to you. -Buy a fortune cookie from Nookling's every day. It only costs 2 Play Coins and it's the way to get the cool Nintendo items. It's simple. Buy the cookie, eat it and read the fortune, then talk to Tommy or Timmy and give them the fortune. There are some fortunes that don't get you anything, but for the most part you get some cool things. I already almost have Link's full outfit, I have Samus's helmet, and also the BLUE FALCAWWWWNNN
  10. why is he throwing baseballs at me? HE'S IN FOOTBALL GEAR I'M SO CONFUSED!
  11. Really I think this line of conversation has exhausted itself. It's obvious we're getting nowhere. On-topic: CHARGIN CHUCK RETURNS STILL HYPED ABOUT THAT GAH
  12. If you plant them, they can grow into a delicate tree that has more perfect fruit.
  13. Doesn't mean it isn't a mainline game either. Just because you don't like it or look at it as a mainline game doesn't mean that it isn't a mainline game. Also, pretty sure that Sunshine didn't look or play like the mainline games before it. And quite certain that Galaxy didn't look or play like the mainline games before it either.
  14. Here's the thing. There's two teams in the Mario platformer: -The NSMB team -The mainline team (Galaxy and such) Guess which team worked on Super Mario 3D Land. Mainline team. Guess which team is working on 3D World.
  15. Those times have been standard for over a decade now. I guess he's just impatient, that's all. I mean, sure, this game has *technically* been known about for 7 years, but it only entered full development in 2011. Which means 4 years from that puts it at 2015.
  16. It's funny that you bring up urgency, since that's exactly why Boost Rush exists in NSMBU, and Coin Rush in NSMB2 to a lesser extent. Time trials are also usually seen in racing games, so seeing them in a platformer is rather nice in itself. Instead of just driving to beat a time, now you have to avoid all the obstacles of a platformer to beat that time (and in Boost Rush mode, the obstacles can get crazier and the speed of the scroll more intense) It's anything BUT obsolete.
  17. 7. Versus was announced 7 years ago. And until recently (I'm guessing not even a year) it wasn't a main Final Fantasy. 13 came out in 2010 (4 years after it was announced) and 14 original released that same year. XII was 2006, the same year 13 and V13 (now 15) were announced. So really I have no idea where you pulled that "9 years" from. It was 4 between 12 and 13, none between 13 and 14, and it's looking like 4-5 between 14 and 15. By comparison, 11 was 4 years before 12, and 10 was 1 year before that. So really, for the last 4 installments, 4 years between them is the norm.
  18. Well ideally there wouldn't be sequels. Hence why I'd hope that if there WERE, they'd be handheld. Or smaller teams at least. I mean, yeah, Nomura's working on both this AND KH3, but it's two studios. XV is the team that made KH1 and 2, and KH3 is the Osaka team, more officially known as Production Development Department 5 of Square Enix, or PDD5. They're the ones who made BBS and 3D. So yeah, even though two games are being made right now (likely more), there's more than enough attention going to each of them. Separate departments, ya know.
  19. It seems like every post in this thread lately has been this: HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE why not focus on the positives for once? I mean, I'm quite excited for the upcoming software lineup; E3 revealed a lot of fantastic games I'm quite looking forward to. The Wonderful 101 is also gonna be incredibly fun; had a chance to play a bit of that last year and it was ohsoglorious. Also y'all seem to be making assumptions about an entire game based on very little information, and most of the interviews and articles I've read seem to say quite the opposite of what y'all are assuming. Just sayin'.
  20. NES sequel. Callin' it now. Actually now I want an 8-bit version of XV. That would be badass. Or at least, an 8-bit version of its gameplay.
  21. The thing is they said that the world of the "Versus epic" is quite large. So they admitted the possibility of sequels... not a confirmation of them, just that it might happen. Honestly, I hope that if one does happen it hits 3DS.
  22. The translated name of XPRT's Mt. Koltz mix made me laugh. if i'm not mistaken, it means "The Mountain of Young Men," right? also UNO DOS TRES FOUR lololol So much love for this disc, can't wait for the rest.
  23. Really? All three of the characters I listed have custom movesets. Sora even has a custom voice sample.
  24. Well they took about 70% of the game's cutscenes and turned them all into pieces of the HD movie. And it looks good.
