Sound choices are really generic, and it overall sounds like a techno eurodance cover of Ice Cap Zone. The arrangement is very repetitive, I recommend some breakdowns. Also, the transitions between parts aren't that great (because there are none). Keep going, if you want this to sound 90's techno then you're going in the right direction, but right now it just sounds like a cover looped 5 times. Make it more expansive, add breakdowns, fills, etc. listen to techno remixes on this website or look on youtube for eurodance songs. They might be repetitive as well, but I'm sure some have more expansive arrangements than others.

There's a very bad frequency somewhere in that intro. I recommend an EQ. I think it's a bit too thick in the middle. The piano needs to be more upfront. It also needs to be humanized a bit better. It gets a little muddled when there are other leads playing alongside. Try panning the piano to one side and the other lead to the other side.

No, the strings are used for chordal support, but the piano has individual notes that need to be heard. I'd say, first, turn down the piano reverb and make it louder. Next, for the flute, instead of making it LOUD just make it the same volume as the saxophone. It's at a higher FREQ than the sax, so there'll be no blending/clashing whatsoever and it's okay to make them the same volume. Also, that just means the volume is getting too loud so that your sound card can't handle the output so it starts to clip. I'd recommend lowering the volume of the master channel until it stops. If the frequency meters turn yellow and red (at the top, should be where you see the frequency spectrum display) , that means you're exceeding a certain threshold so it starts to get iffy. For full details, I recommend Zircon's production guide. It's an amazing article and teaches you almost everything you need to know about good production values. It's no substitute for practice, but it's a great place to start practicing. xD It taught me all about mastering and such.

Okay, then. I guess I was just being stupid about the whole music vs. vocals thing. But that doesn't mean Atmuh's right about my age, either. If my opinion about criticizing music is wrong, then his opinion about my age's ability to judge music is wrong as well. There's never a "too young" to criticize music. That's my point. In my opinion criticizing music is criticizing the musical instrumental content, along with the melodies. His voice can be seen as an instrument, or it doesn't have to be, and I don't see it as one. I just hear it as a bit of inconvenient noise speaking english in the upper range of the frequency spectrum. xD

(besides the fact that I only write instrumental music anyways) My voice is deeper than one would expect, but it's still "high" in the sense it still has a childish texture to it. I said what I thought his voice sounded like. not his music. I don't like his music, but I never analyzed it so therefore I don't criticize it. I heard his voice though, so I can criticize that all I want.

No that's just saying it's perfectly fine to criticize music. You can't just take two irrelevant things and make them look like they contradict each other.

My theory is that the real version is the one the mixer made it. In other words, buy Zircon speakers/headphones to listen to Zircon music, bLiNd speakers/headphones to listen to bLiNd's music, etc.

I was talking about justin bieber, not people who listen to his music. Anyone can hate all they want on him. If they don't like his music, they're allowed to express that. I thought we were talking about Justin Bieber? There's no age requirement to be a musician. You've never seen heard or read me criticize music so you also don't even know what the hell you are talking about.
