Right, and with a 3D model, that is basically your sprite sheet right there. You don't need to precisely copy every pose with slight differences.

For some strange reason the first few seconds I looked at this screenshot I thought it was 2D graphics with a Sonic 3D Blast style engine. 0_0 Also, the rings look... disproportionate to Sonic. 0_0

I'm not sure I understand. Is Sega making new games for it? Or is it just a plug and play wireless tiny hard drive preloaded with a bunch of old games on it?

I'm probably a minority, but I don't see the big point of who's winning. I don't care who's winning, my team or the other, I just like to get on the map and start shooting/stabbing/sniping. I really just like having fun in this game, I'm not sure why no one else should. It's just a game, and if people keep winning 5 times in a row on the same map with the same time, I'll just stop playing because I'm not playing anything different anymore; I'm just replaying what I played earlier. I'm a reserved slot holder, but I don't know how to votescramble or nominate a map. I didn't know that I was expected to, but if I am, I'll definitely try to do more of that when it's needed.

No, you don't have to learn how to rewrite any stuff. You need to learn how to write YOUR OWN stuff.

Is making a model with hi res textures easier to make than an entire HD sprite sheet for every object in the game?

Did Warioland shake have high quality hand drawn fast moving environments? And A LOT of them?

Why? What's the point of HD if it's 2D sprites? I could understand Blazblu, but Blazblu has 3D graphical aspects to it. I think it would look better AND be easier to make if it was 3D. It would be ludicrous to ask Sega to individually hand-draw every high quality sprite.

It's 2D gameplay with 3D graphics. They ditched Tails and Knuckles so they can show that they can make a game with Sonic as the only playable character.

The running levels in Sonic Unleashed were actually a step in the right direction, so I would hope they emulate some stuff from that into this game.

Maybe it should be the way it was in Sonic Adventure. I mean like, have Chaos destroyed as a servant of Eggman and then just totally ignore the whole Super Sonic vs. Chaos 7 part and have a Super Sonic vs. Giant Eggman Robot part. Maybe they could bring back teh Super emeralds. ^^

I actually did not mind Chaos much, it gave some bit of ancient feeling to Sonic Adventure.

Does anyone believe that Project Needlemouse could be a hoax for Sega to get back at the fans for spamming them with hate for what they've been currently doing with Sonic? If it is, it could be the end of Sega, or maybe they could find some way to play it out so that they're still in business. Just an idea. It seems outrageous, but I don't blame Sega for being pissed at the fans; the Sonic "fanboys" could get annoying after the first few hundred rants. BTW, I do not believe it's a hoax, but the idea occurred to me and it didn't seem entirely improbable, so I wanted to throw it out there to see what you guys thought.
