Why are you acting like this is some sort of cruel working condition? It's a small competition in a corner pocket of the internet. There are almost no rewards to winning other than getting recognized by the people who look at the competitions forum. It's just an organized way to get people to make remixes and challenge their arrangement abilities.

Never compress reverb. So put that before all else. I would put stereo shaper (I use the enhancer not the shaper, tbh) and then reverb.

People do vote for tracks that don't end up winning. Those get counted in the system.

If that's how all your new projects start, try reloading the new project template of your choosing. If it still doesn't fix the problem, turn all of them on and save over the old template file (located in C:\Program Files\Image-Line \FL Studio 10\Data\Templates\[nameoftemplate]). The template files are in folders that have identical names to the templates. The template you start with by default after installing FL is "Basic With Limiter", I believe.

No, he means the "enable/disable" green light next to the the knob on each slot that controls how much the effects affect the incoming audio. If those are green, try hitting the little "FX" button that's located under each mixer track. If those aren't yellow, effects won't work.

It wouldn't make much of a difference, since he's only counting the top 3 winners anyway. The problem doesn't lie in the points tallying, it lies in that he's only counting top 3 people. You're complaining about a problem that's just a side effect of the real problem.

5+1 is a lot easier than 57+48. The first requires less than half a second, the second requires at least two seconds. Unless he records cumulative score in the scoreboard then we would sit there for at least 15 or so seconds to try and figure out who's winning.

It's for tallying up the winning team at the end of the competition.
