Once you have an account there you can link it to your gamecard through the GameSync ID you've been given the first time you connect, and before you put a Poke to sleep. After that, you may access the Dream World once every 24 hours through the first site I linked.
From what I've gathered, you have to randomly come across someone's home while you're in the Dream World (perhaps both of you have to be on a the same time, I could be wrong) but even then 90% of the time it'll likely be some random stranger and not someone from your in-game Pal-Pad.
That JRPG sample looks more like RPGMaker, hah. I'd like to see something more along the lines of NES era, possibly SNES. I do like the wide shot of the first one.
Really? I got into it fine just now and yesterday. I've had absolutely no hiccups during any stages. Also, I've managed to get a Shinx and an Exeggcute.
Writing RPG stories has always been my cup of tea, so I am more looking forward to a story for this. And since I prefer to read I would prefer text-based more than any graphics at all. There are more things you can do with words alone and that's what I want whenever I play some sort of RPG-ish game.
Theme #6: Live Instruments Only
What is needed:
Link a stream or youtube video of your favorite original track that must correspond with the current theme. Not limited to just one.
Explain why you like the specific track. Don't just say you like it.
Some favorites will often be shared between more than one persons. This means someone else will likely post a track which you like. So instead post your 2nd favorite or so forth. No duplicates. The idea here is to spread as much different tracks as possible.
Or, you can post a track you've never really listened to before and write why it should be enjoyed.
Participation is key.
Previous sessions:
1. Battle Music
2. Game Boy
3. Vocals
4. Scary Theme
5. Sad Theme
I want to call the third game Pokemon Chrome, simply because Grey sounds so cheesy. Of course, assuming they're even going to make a third game. A while back I read somewhere that they might not make one. Even Kyurem, the third dragon, can be found in the Giant Chasm of B/W. So we'll see.
Has anyone had luck finding a Dream World Pokemon through GTS? I want to know if it's possible. I'm assuming it should be, but I'm not getting one yet.
You're forgetting the fact that locks won't help against lava or TNT. Or by simply taking an axe and chop away at the chest. The 'Whitelist' feature is the only feature that allows us not to have rampant griefing. So we have nothing but to work on an unspoken honor system from within the players allowed on. Of course, that's already been blown to bits.
You're also forgetting the fact that this game is to MINE stuff so that you can CRAFT stuff. If you don't want to spend hours mining then go download the /infdev/ version (if you can find it) where you have infinite blocks and no health (and I think you can fly) so you that can do just that; build shit. Speaking of which, constantly asking for stuff given to you by the admins is definitely not how this game was meant to be played. So why even mention if you had stuff stolen because you we all know you can just ask for it back?
Like holy shit really? Are we still going on about this? I'm going back to Pokemon now.
Anyone else disappointed with how GameFreak is handling competitive play? It's really a lackluster in this current Gen. However, I do love that EVs can be still trained at level 100 since they are calculated after a battle instead of during a level-up.
Apparently, Dream World has been delayed. They haven't stated when exactly it will come online, nor the reason for the delay (I'm assuming it has to do with the recent earthquake). Still sucks.
