Help yourself before you can expect help from others. You may think I'm being mean but I'm not. First of all, fix yourself. Constantly putting yourself down in a manner of begging isn't going to help your cause. If you can't place your own self on a path then nobody will be able to carry you the rest of the way. With your attitude you're not going to get anywhere. You've practically given up and you're showing that to the world. Charity cases are not something anyone can do, or want to do. People have their own issues. That is why organizations often put celebrities in game shows to raise awareness as well as funds. That is why Bill Gates couldn't care less about people in your situation. What I can give is perfect for you. I am currently writing a short story about a homeless person who is happy despite all he sees around him. Why is he happy? Because he's alive. He doesn't beg. He doesn't show others that he's fallen into a dark alley with no exits. If he can help himself than the ones who are nice enough to give a hand will do so. He understands his situation. He's not going to say he doesn't need money or help. Of course he does. But, he isn't going to show he does either. Acting little to get big. That's what you're missing. You're just flat out asking for the whole ten yards. I've told you before while you still wanted to go to the Vegas meet-up. I would help you only if you helped yourself halfway. Nobody likes a leech. Even the best of friends. You're the type that would order takeout for a class project while I do all the work writing. What about your parents? If they're showing that even they won't help, can you honestly expect it from strangers? Then ask yourself: Why are you doing this? You need a motivation. Find one. Even as little as to just get some can of soda.

Appreciation of VG Music 1: Battle Music
Capa Langley replied to Capa Langley's topic in General Discussion
What's better than a boss fight? A boss fight with an immortal partner. I can never get enough of this game especially when I had a friend over. We would spend hours straight going through this game to its entirety. You hear this track very often as you face multiple mini-bosses in each stage. I miss being Knuckle Joe and kicking ass right about now. -
Appreciation of VG Music 1: Battle Music

We can cut them some slack. After all, participation itself is key. I'm enjoying what I'm seeing so far. -
We all enjoy video game music here. Bahamut's project here gave me an idea; How does video game music describe itself to you? We experience all sorts of variety of vgmusic, but what sort is our favorite? How do we differ them from each other? There are too many projects and competitions for remixing on this forum, but why not listen to the original tracks from time to time? Theme #1: Battle Music What is needed: Link a stream or youtube video of your favorite track that must correspond with the current theme. Not limited to one. Write up at least 3 sentences or a full paragraph telling us when you first heard it and why you like it. Some favorites will often be shared between more than person. This means someone else will likely post a track which you like. So instead post your 2nd favorite or so forth. No duplicates. The idea here is to spread more music as possible. Or, you can post a track you've never really listened to before and write why it should be enjoyed. For now I am thinking about letting each theme run it's course for a month. In the short future, I might possibly jump to having it once every 2 weeks. We'll just have to see the popularity of this sort of proposal. ------------------------------------------------ This track raises your tension right away with the opening beats. The melodies doesn't drown out the rest of the track, nor the sound effects, and never distracts you from the actual battle. This is the sort of track that makes you feel as if you're part of the battle and makes you just want to fight as one of the characters rather than controlling them. I'm a JRPG fan and when SaGa Frontier first came out I was reluctant to actually play T260 at all, but when I did and came to finishing his story I was blasted away from this and always went back to it whenever I could.

Wow! All fans of Pokemon should enjoy this clip. I'm rather enjoying these amateur clips than big Hollywood films. A fan movie made for fans by fans.

Has anyone seen this movie yet? I find it hilarious as I would with both Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter movies. The acting and writing is so bad it's entertaining. But! The action is done right at least. Very fast paced and good picture. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tekken_%28film%29 Tell me what you thought!

As far as I know, only the big birthday party will be planned ahead of time as it does require the larger number of people. Some events will be on a whim, while others will be posted on Twitter. starla is getting attendees together so can plan things out some more as well. Just a couple more days for that. -

This means I actually have to get a Twitter account? ._. -
As much as I do enjoy AVGN, I prefer Spoony over him.

The one I enjoy the most is ElementTD.

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond my control I am unable to attend this. To those going to MAG9 I will see you there definitely. Everyone have fun, and remember, whatever happens in Vegas will be posted on these forums. -

With that said, I am left with a couple choices. I can fly directly to Vegas on the 8th and hopefully someone can pick me up. Or I can fly to another location before the actual meet-up and ride up with others. I want to hear some inputs before I go ahead and buy my plane ticket. -

Dismiss everything you ever knew about anime and watch Monster. Things will never be the same again. It's such an amazing story. -
Armed for Disaster I rather like A Mission to Arm.
-
I am amazed you've filled out this many tracks as is. You've done well. Keep up the hard work and I await for the album to release.
