  1. Heh, my computer's nowhere nearly as beasty as a server, but I never thought about the cost of running it. I'll have to check that out.
  2. It's lasted at least four years so far, and still going strong.
  3. Yeah, but I try to restart it as seldomly as possible. I usually end up restarting it for a reason other than speed issues. I think the longest it's been on was 4 weeks.
  4. My computer's XP Media Center (though it reads in properties as Professional) SP2. I downloaded the executable from Microsoft for SP3 and installed it on another computer, it worked, but when I tried to install it on my computer, it failed and restarted my computer. After that I also tried automatic updates, and that failed just the same and restarted. I hate restarting my computer, so I just haven't bothered with it since. So far, no problems, so I haven't taken to caring about it.
  5. I'm going to be playing trumpet in my high school's marching band at the city's memorial service. Not going to play taps, though - I let someone else play it because I won't be in band next year. Aside from that, just staying at home.
  6. Aha! Thanks, I normally don't deal with things that have spoilers so I completely missed that. Doesn't help that I was skimming at the time because I was rushed to do other things, so I missed the messages saying to highlight text after the colon.
  7. I didn't think I gave too big of spoilers, I just said that two things weren't the same between two games, didn't say how.
  8. First series: I played all of the games, I liked the gameplay and I loved the storyline. I didn't care that the gameplay didn't change between the games of the series, but then again I bought all the games used, so I didn't spend as much money on the games as I could have. Second series: I played the first game, but there were too many changes for me to get involved in this series. The game I played was fun, but I felt like the path GU was going with things was tangent to the path the first series went with things. A few of the things I didn't understand was why Skeith served a different purpose in GU from that of Infection, and I didn't understand what happened to Kite between the first series and GU to make him change roles as well. Maybe these things would have been explained, but oh well, I've long since stopped caring. Sign: I liked the show, loved the music, but I found Tsukasa very annoying. I never watched the rest of the anime, so I have no suggestion for what order to watch/play things in.
  9. Duke Nukem Forever? More like Duke Nukem Never.
  10. Well, I've been looking into this (ATI TV Wonder™ HD 650 Combo USB), but I haven't run a price check on it yet to see if it's worth it.
  11. First thing that comes to mind is a TV Tuner card. Last I heard, those are able to record from Composite (the colored plugs), so try looking into those. I estimate they should be between $40 and $120 dollars for an average one.
  12. It's another DS game. Also, summary of my last post: Games present quick rewards with little investment required. As for learning a guitar in the time used playing Guitar Hero, I think it's entirely a matter of the quick rewards and also, as I said in my last post, that to actually imitate the songs you'd need people playing other instruments. Side Note: I played Halo 3 and didn't like it. My main gripe is that I didn't like how strong melee was, but aside from that I played on a console, which I haven't done in a long time, so I didn't like getting used to analog sticks again.
  13. Because playing a game of football requires: friends who want to play and have time to play space enough to play in setting up the game organizing the game time to organize the game, get to the place to play, play, and get to wherever after playing physical effort a ball A video game requires: console game Because cooking requires: recipes ingredients tools storage for ingredients and tools preparation that the person is in a kitchen cleanup time to decide what food, get the ingredients for the food, prepare to make the food, make the food, serve the food, and clean up people to eat the food. Playing a video game requires: console game Because playing a real guitar requires: guitar lessons to learn how to play time to practice until level of playing is presentable sheet music And if the person wants to sound good: other instruments people who play them well, have time to play, and want to play Playing a video game requires: console game special controllers I know this may be a shocker to a lot of people, but rock music has more instruments than just guitar. For example, there's trapset, keyboard (with voices to sound like something else), and miscellaneous percussion instruments. Playing any instrument alone is rather dull, let alone one that practically everyone plays for popularity reasons.
  14. You should get some camermen and turn this into a TV show, make you some money to pay for those lawyers. I'd watch it (at least to see if it's as interesting as you're making it out to be).
  15. I'd assume that a first party charger would help, but sounds like a bad battery to me. I'm no tech expert though.
