I'm also interested even though I lose about 80% of my matches in real life. You'll have fun kicking me around
You and me both. You and me both.

Sounds like a blast.

Not only do you make sick music, but are designing a game that sounds super awesome? Awesome!
I would offer my skills but I'm not quite experienced enough with programming to be confident in offering them.
EDIT: My original wording made it seem like I wasn't excited for it. It could be taken as demotivating so I changed it from might sound awesome to sounds awesome.

Now I might actually watch Twilight with some RiffTrax in the background.

fallout 1 and 2 are horrible
fallout 2 the game where you can do whatever you want well except for this mandatory and tedious dungeon at the beginning of the game that involves you walking around and stabbing scorpions in a really slow turn based system and possibly dying and having to start all over again before you even have a chance to enjoy all of the apparently good stuff
a game isn't good if you have to trudge through a mountain of shit to get a piece of gold
Do you always have to troll?
I liked them, despite their flaws. Their flaws don't make them bad games necessarily, just flawed.

I'm making a Facepage JUST for this. Good luck Jillian!
EDIT: After listening to it, that is a beautiful song. I think it'd fit quite nicely in Screed.

Skies of Arcadia was an awesome game with an awesome setting and some dang awesome music. HECK YES I would love to see this project revived!

So basically try and go by the key and crazy ammounts of replaying the arpeggio. Alright, thank ya!

More updates soon, I'll try to wrap up the physical album prep by tomorrow, as well as updates on getting it on iTunes, Amazon, CDbaby, etc.
Really? I already bought it once and now I have to buy it again. I don't know if I can scrape up the extra cash for the physical copy. Is this going to be one of those special edition get them now before everyone else buys them?
EDIT: By the way Buzzsaw is really addicting. Da bass! Super props to you and zircon! And just out of curiosity, when you say something is featuring someone, how much do they contribute to the track?

Knowing Blizzard? 2020.

Great stuff! Just sitting here listening to it and having a blast. Definitely some inspiring tunes.
And 4 bucks is a very generous price, most definitely worth it. Thanks Jimmy!

So, I've been trying to recreate/deconstruct/study/etc. various different songs that I like. Whenever I'm trying to figure out what notes are being played, for the most part I'm able to figure them out... until I hit Arpeggios. I crash and burn when I'm trying to figure out fast notes or Arpeggios. Are there any tricks I can use or exercises I can practice to pick them out? What do you guys do to pick them out (or did to get good at it)?
And one other thing, although I can usually figure out long background chords (as in pads), I'd appreciate knowing a bit more about them too.

I'll echo what people said before. Fire Emblem (any of them) is a good choice. I personally have Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon on the DS. Pretty fun and I got to play as my favorite Smash Bros character
-
So uh, since I only played this a few times and I don't really want to play it again, I have 202 crowns that I can give someone. I know that's probably pocket change for someone who plays it regularly but someone might as well use it.

It's a birthday! Happy Birthday!

Hey Taucer, while you're kicking ass in Raleigh, would you mind trying out the MLG controller and giving us some impressions? It sounds incredible -- finally I can have a PS3 stick for my left thumb and a 360 stick for my right thumb.
And while your at it, can you tell us how it handles starcraft? I've been looking at alternative playstyles and I think that the future of RTS is on the gamepads and consoles. Nothing handles quite as precise as a thumbstick.

Good luck taucer!

Good idea! Thanks!
No problem haha. My friends who don't want to pay for the full game are always bugging me about helping them XD.

I didn't know there was any Portal Music video contest. Now I just found that it's over XD. I loved the sock puppet video, brilliant imagery.
Having ventured into stopmotion, props to those dedicated to such pain, but I feel like it was overshadowed by the ones on valve's video page.

I heard the first 2 seconds and immediately proceeded to download. Good stuff!

Some trial. Only lets me fight an A.I. on easy mode.
If you have any friends with SC2 they can make a game and invite you and they can up the difficulty. You can still only play on the few maps you've got and you can only play terran, but they can up the difficulty for you.

Happy Birthday!

Dan, be sure to post the youtube channel that you'll be posting videos on. I hope you guys get this all sorted out and it all works out for the best. You guys make awesome stuff, I'm glad to see you're still going at it.

Starcraft 2 now has an "Unlimited Trial Mode". I haven't tried it out, but from what Blizzard says, it has the first 4 single player maps, 2 challenges, and they can play multiplayer as terran in custom games on 4 maps.
So for any of the bums that hasn't played SC2 yet, there's no excuse.

Hey Physical CD's! Woo!
So I know you said on twitter that those who paid more than what the physical costs can get a physical copy for free, but I didn't do so...
I paid 8 bucks for it, and then shortly afterwards I bought it again for 4 bucks... does that count?
