  1. Thanks for your elaborate review on the track! I really appreciate it - The lo-fi drums are YouTube's fault for sure. I thought that encoding the audio track at 320 kbps in the video would make it sound good, but YouTube's compression ruined it anyway - The progression at 2:53 you liked is the same as in the clean guitars at the beginning of the track - As for the end overwhelming mids, it is because at 8:57 we cut off both highs and lows, simulating a lo-fi vinyl record (we even put a stylus noise in the background). Thanks again for your comments!!
  2. Thanks for your comments BTW, I'm wondering what happened with the lyrics recording?
  3. Hey guys, just wanted to share with you this new track of my band, Izkemia. It's called Sinapsis, and it's the 4th track of our 3rd album, called Involución. Well, hope you enjoy it. Any comments are welcome! (NOTE: switch to 480p for better audio quality).
  4. Pretty original stuff, I have never heard anything similar to this. It has something that makes me like it. Not sure what it is though...
  5. I see, thanks for the explanation. I don't know, I kinda like how it sounds as it is. Thanks for the recommendations anyway
  6. You got sort of a noob in musical terminology here, specially when talking in english What do you mean with a "more compelling buildup"? Actually, there's a marimba making some notes in the background in that part. Maybe they are too soft? Anyway, I liked the idea of adding some pizzicatos there. Absolutelly! xD
  7. UPDATE: OK, I added some details and made a 'proper' ending for the song, not so great, but it works. Just updated the link in the first post.
  8. LOLOLOLOLOL Stop ruining my song!!! hahaha guys, some of you have experience recording vocals? I'm really curious about how would it sound with these lyrics on it xD
  9. I guess you're right. Maybe tomorrow I'll think of an ending, as now I'm very tired because I've been working on this all the afternoon (it's past 2:00 AM here D:). Thanks for commenting!
  10. Hey there! Well, as most of my previous works, this is more like a cover than a remix. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it http://soundcloud.com/fernito/kirby-grape-garden-cover-2nd-version Comments are welcome.
  11. Hey there! Here's the link to our Duke Nukem II cover: http://www.mediafire.com/?ym4iymklmkn

    Enjoy!

  12. My bad!!!! Didn't read the whole post, sorry Thanks for the links, I'll give them a look
  13. That was really nice, neblix. Question: what (VST?) do you use for the mellodies?
  14. I guess Toontrack's Superior Drummer is the best out there.
  15. Thanks to all you guys, with all this material my pseudo-chiptunes will become actual chiptunes at last
  16. This is exactly what I was looking for, these samples are amazing! Thanks Txai, I owe you one!
  17. I see, thanks for the good explanation! I tried that VST you recommended me but it's definitely not the sound I'm looking for. I need something more NES-ish. Thanks anyway!
  18. Bitcrusher? Is that some sort of "8bit-izer" effect? I didn't even know that NSF format existed OK, I'll fire you a PM, thanks! EDIT: Txai, for some reason I can't neither PM you nor post a visitor message in your profile.
  19. Hey guys, I've been looking for a good chiptune drums VST, but I haven't been able to find any. Well, I mean, I've found two, but one (called Toad) lacks of some sounds, like cymbals, toms, etc., and the other (called 8bit_drums)... well, I just haven't been able to figure out how it works. Thanks in advance!
  20. That was amazing. How old are you? Have you studied music?
