  1. For those who may not have noticed, the OCAD server is back up and running with 1.6 support On a related note, my shop will now start selling Netherrack, Glowstone, and Soul Sand since the nether is now reachable.
  2. So, basically it would just be the same thing without chest protection or shops?
  3. Wouldn't it make more sense just to use the server jar until the bukkit update is released? Also, what does the server use bukkit for anyways? Like, what would be gone if the server was temporarily on the standard jar?
  4. Oh, so bukkit actually has to release a patch with each minecraft patch, to stay compatible? Didn't know that.
  5. So, any clue as to when OCAD will be updated to 1.6?
  6. I take it at face value, since I don't know Brush enough to tell whether he is being serious or joking. For all I know, he could honestly think it costs money for the upgrades, it's not that far of a stretch.
  7. Sweet! That means multiplayer nether! I CAN FINALLY HAZ GLOWSTONE
  8. Yup, because you are leaving us, all alone. SO YOU MUST BE DESTROYED!
  9. Alright, so 99 says to post what happened here, so: I messing around in The Damneds house, pouring water and then picking it up really fast to make waves and water slides on his staircase. I then went AFK for a few minutes, and came back to see The Damned had decided to go Chris Brown on me. Needless to say, I was a little annoyed, so I placed some furnaces in front of his door and locked them as a little payback prank. He got angry and said to move them, I destroyed 2 out of the 4 so he could get out, but before I could destroy the rest, he killed me. I lost like 6000 of my HARD EARNED peener from that. I was now angry. So I came back, and killed him, as he did to me. After that he rage quit. Also, right after all that happened, I destroyed the remaining furnaces, fixed any damage that was done to his house/waterfall in the process of all this, and made a chest and put all the stuff that spilled out of him when he died into it. I, however had many items, such as a bow, some arrows, a diamond hoe ect... that were lost in the front of this raging battle.
  10. I actually tried to get into 6, but I just couldn't. For some reason, I just can't get into games with that old RPG style, where in battle the characters and enemy sprites aren't animated, and just kinda sit there. Makes it seem kinda generic. It's probably just because I hadn't played any RPG until that style of game was way past obsolete
  11. YEah, everyone always hates on FF12, but I found it to be a great game. I loved the plot/story of the game, the waring kingdoms made for a good story progression rather than the same old thing. And I for one really liked the battle system of the game, I think it made for fast and smooth gameplay. Keep in mind, I play the International version of the game, which fixes almost all the problems I had with 12. It adds a class system, so characters are more defined, and not all the same person essentially, lets you control guests and summons, so no more summons running off and attacking a bat while like 10 chimaeras destroy you. And some new items, fixed item drop rates, and hold L2 for the game to speed up by unlimiting the frame rate Personally, my preference of the (main series, this excludes garbage like 10-2) games are: 10 - 8 - 7 - 12 - 13 - 9 Never played 11, or any before 7. 10 Was the first I played, my first RPG, loved it. Compelled me to go back and play 7, 8, and 9.
  12. I bought out all of Garian's. Heading to the Nexus now to see if they have any...and buy it all. Oh, also have a new store setup by Garian's item dump for rare or valuable items. Also have iron, gold, diamond, and redstone. All cheaper than Garian's! edit: The Nexus doesn't even have a shop..so, yeah. No Glow.
  13. So, apparently we got another thief on the OCAD server > Someone stole a bunch of stuff from tjo_06's house and took a bunch of glowstone from my towers, as well as broke a bunch of glass up at the top.
  14. I don't know, I'll buy it if it has a fun strategy mode like 3's Chronicles of the Sword. Hell, the combination they did there with a strategy and a fighting game could be made into it's own series and I'd buy it.
  15. $90? Pfft, I'll make my own MinecraftCon, with blackjack, and hookers. In fact, forget the MinecraftCon.
  16. trust me, once you get later into the game and start finding enemies that take like 5 minutes to kill, you'll get annoyed. Imagine taking 5 minutes to fight a normal battle, nothing special, taking 2 steps, and then having another encounter and having to do it all again. Sometimes this will happen like 5 or 6 times in a row. It could literally take you like a hour to go down a short hallway if you're unlucky. And it HAS happened to me. Many times in fact.
  17. What do you mean the regular MMX canon? Command Mission is part of the X series, and fits in the story line. It's not a classic style side-scroller, but it's no less part of the X series' story.
  18. Yeah, most people who pirate a large majority of stuff wouldn't pey for it anyways. The only music I ever pay for is from small bands/unsigned bands to help them get a start. If they wanna be successful in this day and age, they have to start playing live shows, get a bigger fan base, and get some merch put out.
  19. You know, I really wish there was at least 1 track from this game on the upcoming Maverick Rising album
  20. Oh yeah, there are some more differences. I have the PS2 version, and I think the encounter rate is a bit too high, I can't imagine I'd like the gamecube version. The music in this game is fantastic. Another reason I wish this game got more attention.
  21. I was just thinking of this game yesterday. Probably gonna start a new playthrough today. I've never gotten anyone to level 99, it's 100% unnecessary. By the time you have everything in the game finished including all the hidden bosses, armors ect, you're only like level 50. And that's WITH grinding. This game pretty much skated by unnoticed, and never got much attention. It's a really great RPG, and really cheap too now, 6 bucks at gamestop. The Gamecube and PS2 versions are the same, no extra bonuses for either, so get whatever one you'd rather play it on. -edit- Oh, and Zero destroys in this game. He is by FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR the best character in the game. Get his ultimate weapon + 2 heat haze's and watch as the enemies cower before you.
  22. which is why we have an economy, so you can buy/trade with other people for it rather than that.
  23. No tax in NY for 360 points on XBL. Also no tax at blockbuster, radio shack, or gamestop for buying them so
  24. Well, it's working fine for me again, so whatever it was it's fixed.
