  1. Ah, this is the halc I know and love. More like this, please. <3
  2. Fade out ending left me wanting, but otherwise it was gorgeous! Definitely adding this to my library.
  3. I've sung a few Faure pieces as part of my voice lessons. I don't speak the language, but apparently my pronunciation is at the very least passable. ^^; Let me know if I can be of any help!
  4. Hey folks! I'm definitely very interested in this if you need another baritone/tenor. I can sight sing, I've been getting voice lessons for about 4 years now, and I've had a number of solos, the most recent of which was professionally recorded and is currently undergoing editing. I should be able to share that with you all in about two months, if you're interested!
  5. Just finished up the semester. I'm not taking any summer classes, so I'll be better able to focus on this now. Sorry to have disappeared for so long! Is there anything in particular that I should be working on?
  6. Thanks! I'll be sure to get my email to him right away. Unfortunately I've never composed anything of my own, nor do I know how to play any instruments well enough to really perform. However, I do enjoy writing, so I may be able to help come up with lyrics!
  7. Hey, I've been lurking on the site for years now, but when I saw this thread I decided I oughta express my interest in helping out. Not sure exactly what parts have been taken and what's still open for auditions, so I'll leave it up to the project's director to decide what part I can take, or if I'm to take a part at all. I'm a baritone/tenor, and I've been singing with my college choir for a few years now. Currently I'm taking private voice lessons with the conductor. Through his classes, I've learned a lot of gorgeous music; I'll have videos to share of myself singing those pieces by the end of May. I hope that won't be too late. In the meantime, I'll link a video of myself from about a year ago. Hope everyone enjoys it!
  8. I think this very well could be my favorite mix on the entire site... and that's saying a lot! Very well done!
  9. This has been one of my favorite pieces on the site for years. AeroZ, you're my hero. <3 It's difficult to discern them with all the distortion, but, to me, the tail end of it sounds like "Please! Tell me what's going on!"
  10. So true! The Super Nintendo was the very first system I owned; upon playing them, I instantly fell in love with classics such as Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI, and Super Mario RPG, and a very large part of why I love them so is without a doubt because of Uematsu-san's inspirational compositions. I'm a Final Fantasy fan, and a Nobuo Uematsu fan to the very end! I don't know how I'll afford it, but I will be at the Los Angeles concert, whether I win this or not!
  11. This mix is what the people need-- what the people deserve.
