  1. YAY!!!! I like this medley. I would have to say though, it does kinda drop off at the end, although I do find the transition to Meridia to be simply stunning. I always liked the music for that section of Meridia. I used to play this game and purposely just jump around shooting monsters in this area to listen to that music (I never actually got the good ending). I think that AmIEvil did an excelent job on this piece. Oh yeah, I don't really know where that last movement is from either. Anyone know where this is from? But overall, really well done. I must say that this song is for anyone who knows a good song when they hear it. It really captures the mood from Super Metroid. I didn't really have a problem with it's name either. Definitly worth the download, even over a (pardon the redundancy) slow modem connection. Give it a chance and you will not be disappointed.
  2. WOW. I like. I was always a fan of the theme from Drac's castle in CV2. I think this piece did a wonderful job of remixing it. I'm not much of a remixer, though I do enjoy playing guitar. I basically don't bother figuring out entire songs, but just riffs that I like. I must say, after listening to the intro to this tune, I almost instinctively reached for my guitar to figure it out. Other's have mentioned the abrupt transitions from section to section, especially at 3:47, but I thought it worked quite well. I do think that it would have been an interesting idea to have the abrupt dropoff and then the fade in of that intro riff again as was mentioned in a previous post. But overall, I am thoroughly impressed and am looking forward to future submissions. Oh yeah, NoFleshAllowed also rocks, but that's a whole other post. Keep up the good work.
  3. Best on the site? I don't think I'd go that far, but this song and Death on the Snowfield were probably the 2 best at the time. I would have to say that this song definitely raised the bar of what's to be expected on this site. It is probably one of the 3 best Terra themes that I have heard to date. The other 2 being the Death on the Snowfield remix and the version on Final Fantasy Pray. Speaking of which, I highly recommend getting Final Fantasy Pray if you can find it. You will probably need to resort to ordering it online since I haven't been able to find ANY music stores that sell. But as for the Terra in Black, it's definitly worth the download. There is no excuse for not at least giving it a chance. Oh, BTW, the trumpet thingy in the intro sounds too fake, but other than that, this is a great piece.
