I've picked the sources for the last few contests, and I'd like to give some of the new faces a better chance to share the glory - not to mention chroxic's collection of wooden spoons lol plus I'm completely out of ideas for new sources Edit: geeezus, this MIDI is a nightmare!

The mix has improved. I would try throwing a low pass filter on some of those lead synths at around 9-10k, otherwise it eats up the cymbals and the other synths. Maybe boost the horns a tad too. I think it sounds pretty good man. Other than that I don't have much advice. I've never posted to the OCR, so I can't be of any help on that subject.

Voted and gave everyone some feedback. Tough vote for me actually, all the remixes had something to offer. Definitely a great round!

Got my bonus remix finished in Guitar Pro woot! Time for production! And apparently, my friend wants to lay down some vocals that should be interesting. It's a fun source to work with so I hope to see some superb remixes from you guys

It's quite a bummer to hear this from you guys, I was certainly looking forward to what you guys would come up with. I'm practically finished with my remix wooo I think it would be a cool idea, perhaps for a future contest, to have a random tag-team round. People sign up who want to participate, then they are randomly paired up to collaborate on a remix.

I suppose I am quite happy, but I assume everyone else is just as happy with the amount of remixes! Tho it did make the voting process much longer than usual haha It was a great round. I listen to everyone's remix a few times and gave you each feedback. Voting was really tough, but my first place choice really knocked it out of the park for me (and you'll know who you are shortly!).

I honestly attempted this one. Genre is a little out side my comfort zone I guess because I couldn't come up with anything appealing. I tried to take a reggae/ska approach (something I've never done mind you), but it sounded a lot better in my head until I translated it into a remix lol I wish I was more versatile sometimes
