  1. Well, if you're in the Direct-Posted list then you won't show up on the 'To-Be-Posted' category, as that's for mixes that have passed through panel. Due to a variety of behind the scene circumstances, posting tends to take time on the site (on average, music will take about a year to be posted on the site from the time they're accepted), but it still moves.

If you got a letter that you're a DP then don't worry, they haven't forgotten about you. You can always message Liontamer or DjP if a fallthrough-like situation is a concern, however. I'm not absolutely sure how well they respond to e-mail, as I've never tried, but perhaps they're more responsive to messages.

I was asking myself the same thing ^^. But it is well answered. Tho I didn't think it would take up 1 complete year. Still we should be thankful for those guys. They are taking their free time.

  2. I'll be dropping 'Door to the Journey'. Best of luck to Wes and Greg with this project.

Do you think guys I'm good enough to replace this. I can lend a WIP in a short time. (As I start now.)

Or do you simply don't need this?

  3. When torched2 will go out, I'm sure plenty of people will investigate and find a solution to make some skills more enjoyable and not weapon tied. I am one too that love the game but hate some part of it. Like the fact that the summons all have a duration. Or shotgonne have no skill at all unless a passive. Or even the fact that you can't health stole ability from your weapon with any skill. So mods will be our solution.

And for the part of the respec, I'm more of a oldschool gamer. So yeah I feel like no respec. But it's a choice.

This is a great game anyway. One of my fav this year! :)

  4. I do find the way the respec goes pretty cool. I'm an oldschool gamer. I remeber I had like 50 char in d2 cause I loved to try many build. So by my side I find that all game now ask for respec and this is too much for every game. Some game need to be without respec. I find them more enjoyable.

Edit: And you can still try a skill and if you don't want it go respec. Just don't put over 3 points skill and it's okay. So you can try every skill of the game without spending any points.

  5. Hello, I've been a long time gamer and admirer of the remixes and remixers emerging from this community.

I would consider myself an amateur when it comes to production but I'll divulge some details. I use FL Studio though I'm interested in incorporating or switching to Reaper in the future, and style-wise I gravitate towards dance, breakbeat and new age (ironically contrary to my nametag, haha.)

As I fail to have any attainable ideas of my own at the moment, I suppose I'll be browsing through the requests board and making note of applicable tips in feedback to start with.

Hi Turbo. Please have a good stay. Make yourself at home!

1 question tho. Why change FL studio for Reaper?

  6. Too mellow for me. The intro is a little bit boring since it's a 4/4 kick with nothing more. The mix could improve with a little more of drum partern. Hi hat, breaks, differente parten for the drum.

The lfo bass is not taking enough space. And the kick pump too much bass. IT should kick in the face and not kick and stay.

But these are my own thoughts. Maybe you have your kind of atmosphere. I'm sure other people can help too.

    Keep at it.

  7. Hey thank you for the reply! This is exactly what I was looking for. Wasn't sure what I was supposed to looking at to improve. Now I have something to start with. I'll definitely have to continue experimenting. However is there any rules that I should follow with panning. Thanks again.

Yes and no. The rule is your own creativity. You can make come cool thing like paning 100 % left and 100% right with to nes synth but each can have their own line. Then you can only put a hit hat on 30% left and one different hi hat on 30% right. See there is a lot to do with the panning. You can de-phase the sound so it stereo itself. There is a lot to try out. Espacially layering synth and drum. Make some try and error, You will surely improve.

  8. Start slowly by adding panning to your future project. Then you should try to mix/eq your track in far future project. Adding new effects and trying thing is cool. Even if the song is destroyed have fun till you find your skills are good enough.

    Try layering things.

    Have fun

  9. Greetings to all,

For the moment I will introduce myself as Zanquino. Nice to meet you all. I’ve visited and enjoyed the OCR remixes since around the time “Summoning of Spirits” album project was released so that would be late 2008 early 2009.

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate everyone involved in one way or another. The site is amazing, very organized and clean. I am amazed at the quality of the work and it makes me really happy to see a group of individuals come together help each other create this amazing remixes and share it with the world.

I have zero experience remixing or playing any kind of instrument so what is my skill? I would have to say organizing stuff (I’m not a control freak lol). I love to take disorder and find ways to organize them in the most effective way. How can this be used to contribute to such an amazing community. Only time will tell.

Favorite game of all time - Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars

I think all that is left to say is see you around.

    -Zanquino

Welcome Zanquino. HOpe you enjoy your stay.

BTW Mario rpg is AWESOME! I own it in real and play it at least 1 time per year. Too nostalgic!
