  1. A lot of their recent games have been hentai-oriented it seems. SNK apparently got a few galge (girl game, hentai game) artists for a lot of little games. I would guess that would boost their earnings by a few thousand percent. I'm wondering what the mouth icon is for... Do we need to know? "I love you with mouth"? Roffle. I found the english name for the game: Doki Doki Majo Saiban You're supposed to touch girls to see if they are sorceresses or something.
  2. I heard the game was fun, but it was too easy.
  3. I really find no use in importing a game like pokemans. I would rather wait and know what attacks are what and what is named what. Anyways, you suck Kak!
  4. OMFG STILL NO VIDEOS ON LUMINOUS ARC!!!! Anyways, there are a few new videos for most the games though and we finally have footage of It's a Wonderful World. Dragon Quest Monsters looks great, it almost looks as good as a ps2 game. Tales of the Tempest looks really fun too, and I can't wait for that. (video links stolen mainly from neogaf) Dragon Quest Monsters:Joker Naruto It's a Wonderful World Tales of the Tempest Also JUMP ULTIMATE STARS!!! http://img130.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=23885_date22553_122_527lo.jpg http://img101.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=23892_date22554_122_469lo.jpg just a scan, but OLDER SASUKE AND NARUTO!! Also Frieza makes it into the game along with some Saint Seiya guy and a bunch of others. KINNIKUMAN!!!
  5. Importing would jack the price up anyways, so it would cost about the same.
  6. The price drop is Japan only and they have confirmed that it is Japan only. We are getting screwed over here. Also demos are to cost $1 each... I'll go find the sources and add them in later. http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=37312&mode=thread&order=0&thold=0
  7. Haha, just watched the video on GS4 again. The guy in the beanie has to be Wright, it looks just like him.
  8. Gyakuten Saiban 4 baby!! No more Phoenix , but I hope we get to see him, maybe he works for Wright & Co. Law Offices.
  9. They added the HDMI thingy on the cheapo version too, so you win Evilhead, no need for a 900 dollar system. White Knight story looks really cool. I've always wanted a game where you can transform, but was the video realtime? It just looked like a trailer with a thing at the bottem... The video just didn't really look like a battle, but a scene, but that's just me. http://anon.psjp.speedera.net/anon.psjp/tgs06/high/h_whiteknight.wmv Link to said White Knight Story video.
  10. That's the most accurate description ever. I hope Nintendo goes with a universal FC for the Wii.
  11. I haven't tried the game for myself, but the general opinion on it is the same in many sites: it sucks. Why couldn't Square Enix make a true sequel to Super Mario RPG instead? Mario Hoops is fun. I really like it and it would have been a lot better with Wifi. I still have yet to unlock White Mage, Black Mage, Moogle, and Cactuar...
  12. So yeah, new DS game from SE that isn't Final Fantasy or It's A Wonderful World. HEROES OF MANA!!! It's going to be an RTS type game thingy, and was reported in the newest Famitsu SOURCE http://gonintendo.com/?p=5565
  13. It's a fun game. If you like real-time dungeon crawling, this game is for you. If you like first person games with melee combat, this game is for you. The story isn't anything special, but the game handles very well (I can't for the life of me figure out why so many reviewers had control problems; they're very intuitive). The music, by Yasunori Mitsuda, is AWESOME. Some very very good tunes. The game is rather easy, but the satisfaction comes in trying to find all the secret items or hidden rooms rather than surviving. There are also two distinct scenarios each with their own story. Chapter 1 was made specifically for the DS version. while Chapter 2 is an adaptation of a Japanese cell phone game (it's also more difficult, though still fairly easy, and billed as the chapter for more "mature" players). All in all, I had a lot of fun with the game, even though the only area it would be considered outstanding in is in the music category. But it's good for portable play with frequent save points. Were I to review the game, I would give it a 7.5/10 Yeah, it's pretty fun. Gameplay wise, I would call it like a first person Diablo. You walk around and kill things and find items. You can upgrade your weapons and stuff too. I like it so far, but I'm having a bit control problems with the lite, my diagnal right/up is kinda weird and I have to press really hard, but that's just my DS I think.
  14. Well, battles are really slow, but the soundtrack is freaking awesome. The guy swings the sword a little slowly, but I think it's pretty fun so far. I really like walking around and killing stuff so this seems like a game for me.
  15. After the summer dry spell, I'm pretty happy for all this stuff. Also, I heard LOZ:PH was delayed until early 07, but I'm not sure if it really was.
  16. Controls take a while to get used to on Deep Labyrinth, I think I'm going to have to play on the regular DS, the lite is too small for me hands on this game.
  17. Played Deep Labyrinth yet? STARTING IT NOW!
  18. Got Mario 3on3 today and Deep Labyrinth and totally forgot ZX was coming out tomorrow. Oh well, my bro might get it anyways. Mario 3on3 is pretty fun, I really like it, but it's too easy right now, hopefully it gets harder.
  19. Don't listen to him, he seems to hate it while others enjoyed it. I have yet to play yet so I have no idea.
  20. What's the deal? It's going to be a super awesome touch-based adventure game with a wicked sweet localization and very funny moments. BUY IT. I'm looking forward to it.
  21. That would be awesome if they could do that. I'm pretty sure if they dedicated the game to be nothing but painting, than it would work out fine. I was hoping for some kinda of digital camera attachment that lets you edit the photographs that you take on the DS, that would be a pretty nifty thing to have.
  22. BASTARD666 AKA BIGFOOT AKA BIGFOOT KEVIN AKA KEVIN FIELDS AKA JOEFU AKA AMP AKA TRISHA_GODDARD
  23. More space= more of our money. Also, Dante isn't going to be the main character of DMC4, instead it's his bro, Virgil in the Neo Angelo form. Stolen from a different site In a recent issue of Famitsu, loads of info about the upcoming Devil May Cry 4 for the PLAYSTATION 3 have surfaced. Kotakuite AKBlade13 was kind enough not only to summarize some of the article, but all, yes all, of it. What a prince. Here are the highlights: * Dante has been played out, so the new hero is his twin brother, Nero Angelo * The game should be playable at TGS. * It isn't known whether Dante will be playable * The classic DMC moves have been retained, but there is speculation that TGS will unveil new features. * The game is apparently taping the PS3's power for its visuals. Hit the jump for AKBlade13's full rundown. Brian Ashcraft Thus, the true hero of the play is this time Nero Angelo (Capcom wants to change indeed principal character but Dante was already overexploited in the precedents opus), the twin brother of Dante will be equipped with an arm very powerful right allowing him to start demoniaques actions with Devil Bringer. Dante will be also present but we do not know yet if it will be really playable. The events of Devil May Cry 4 take place chronologically between Devil May Cry 1 and Devil May Cry 2, the mechanisms of gameplay (the system of the combos, etc) will be very similar to the preceding shutters of the series, one hopes all the same that the function of detection of movements of the lever PlayStation 3 will be used, in particular at the time of the engagements. The very good news is that Devil May Cry 4 should be playable at the time of Tokyo Game Show 2006 which will take place in a few weeks, in any case scenes of the play in real time will be presented. Capcom would hold even some surprises for us. Speaking with the magazine, director Hideaki Itsuno stated that the change was made in part to put fans and newcomers on equal ground with the game. One of the worries was that if the game looks too much like a sequel, new players will have a hard time of playing. The classic Devil May Cry hero will appear in the game as a "mysterious person." From Nero's perspective, Dante is an enemy who appears out of nowhere and kills his allies. Chronologically, the Dante that appears in this game comes after part 1 but before part 2 (the series chronology is 3, 1, 4, 2). Kobayashi wouldn't state for sure if Dante will be playable (Famitsu shows some shots of Dante shooting his gun, but these may just be event scenes), but Nero seems to have enough tricks that you won't want to go back to the classic hero. Nero has access to a new array of attacks using his "Devil Right Hand." Nero's right hand can be used to pull distant enemies in and send enemies that are close by flying away. All the classic Devil May Cry moves are also planned for the game. Nero can wield two guns and has access to a variety of swords, including the powerful Red Queen. The combo system is based on that of part 3, Itsuno revealed to the magazine, noting that Capcom has been making adjustments by listening to user feedback. There are a few mysterious new systems, including one where your sword has an element of "acceleration" about it, but details will have to wait until a certain late-September game show. Devil May Cry is also about stylish drama sequences between the action, and Itsuno and crew seem to have this covered as well. Like part 3, DMC4 will have its event scenes directed by movie director Yuji Shimomura. The story volume will be greater than that of the previous games, Itsuno noted to the magazine. Itsuno also shared some details on how the game is tapping the power of the PS3. The visuals attempt to deliver a satisfying feel of being in the air. Nero's right arm actions are, according to Itsuno, something that could not be done on current machines.
  24. not trying to start any flames here, but I found this site fairly amusing. http://www.thisiswaiting.com/
