  1. Well, It's about time I get around to writing a review of this. I remember that the day it came out, Stevo himself said this song was one of the highlights of the album. While that may sound somewhat self-centered as he made it, it's true. Every song on that album is great, but this one stands out. I'm not sure what gives it it's polish, but it may be the fact that everything seems so planned out. no random sounds stuck in, everything is the right mood. Makes me feel energetic and excited. This synth is the perfect fir for a guitar (playing in this style of course) and is reminiscent of early synths. This is a great mix, one of my favorites from the album. Keep it up Stevo! (no pressure though...)
  2. Well, that's one way to get post counts up. Guess I have to participate then! 3. Well, this ended up being one of my favorite remixes from the NiGHTS Lucid Dreaming album. It's ability to relax you is one of the best things about this track, everything fits together so perfectly. The intro is especially good in my opinion. It's quiet piano with background sfx are beautiful. I would love to hear a more atmospheric version of this, based on the intro.
  4. Always write about yours! (Just disguise it)
  5. No offense, but honestly, this is similar to the kind of response we expected, so please anyone who DOES want to help post, everyone else doesn't need to point it out. (people for other than music parts welcome)
  6. Also, you might want to try downloading some of the free Reaktor stuff form NI. I use komplete elements and some of that stuff, and it's all excellent for ambiance.
  7. No, I don't think you understand. It's a RETELLING of the original game's storyline, and it's going to be done with all kinds of art. Lucid Dreaming was a remix of the Nights into dreams album. While it had art, it did not retell the storyline.
  8. So myself (CROSSiNG) and some others were thinking of doing a NiGHTS into dreams project. It's a story retelling and will be made up of Various types of media, with different people working on different parts. Music, artwork, poems, videos, anything you can think of. We want to get a variety, not just one kind of art. Original thread can be found here Were going to have a proper signup thread soon.
  9. Huge minecraft fan here and I just found this thread! Could I be white-listed please? IGN: Crossing2000
  10. On a budget I reccomend a Lexicon (Alpha or lambada) and a SM57.
  11. You could probably automap it's functions back. Also, it comes w/ a basic version of Ableton live.
  12. Dropping the High ends worked, thanks:-D I will post the song in a day or two, it's for the Texas Microphone Massacre Remix Contest At Acidplanet.com
  13. I'm working on a remix, and I'm trying to make is quite serine- the kind of music you would meditate to. I've got a flute in the mix, which I like, but it sounds a little "harsh." Is there any way to make it taking "the edge off," instead of just making it quieter?
  14. Or even the KRK Rokit 5's for $300, if he needs to save more money/space
