  1. "Smart" is the word that came to mind for me. It really sounds like you knew what you were doing with this. Having read what others said about the rhythm and source material I paid lots of attention to it when the melody came in, and I actually think it works really well. Changing the part of the beat that the notes fall on made for a fun take on the song. Very awesome with the sound effects and samples. Both can get distracting and hugely detract from a remix if they're used poorly, but they do nothing but benefit this piece. The little wandering solo the melody does towards the end gets just far enough away from the source material to make it dynamic and rewarding when it snaps back to the source's chords at the end of it.
  2. I think by "dull" you mean "amazing". It does come across as a reserved, calm arrangement, but there's 0% wrong with it. It put me in mind of a big, majestic map view. Kirby sits on his idling warp star, patiently waiting for the player to choose what location in the sprawling high-definition Orange Ocean they wish to go to. Now excuse me, I'm going to go listen to this again about 5,000 times.
  3. Nice job! Big Blue always makes me smile, and your remix hits all the distinctive Big Blue spots that make this song sound like its awesome self. Your headset might not be the perfect tool for getting everything crisp and polished, but I think that you may have wound up giving your remix a really cool sound because of it. Some of the sounds seem to have a sort of white noise behind them, and I actually really like that. It's in keeping with the muffled opening; The whole track has a very retro feel to it. Like a newer, higher quality version of the song is being pushed through those old 1990 tv's speakers.
  4. I like it! I've always been a fan of the Mystic Cave Zone theme. Here I think you've picked a musical direction for it that very effectively compliments the way the original song was composed. I'm not familiar with glitch hop as a genre, but the main change I found myself wanting was just more activity in the song. All the pieces work together so well that I'd like to hear more sound coming from it at once, if that makes sense.
