  1. I can't remember the original song very well, and while some mixes jog my memory and allow me to remember the entire song, this mix only made certain parts feel familiar. Whether that's a comment on the mix or the original, I don't know. Regardless, I was thoroughly enjoying the mix and then hit that segment right before the halfway point of the song. It felt as if things suddenly came alive then. It was a really nice dynamic, contrasting with the more laid-back beginning. Very nice work!
  2. The saxophone is indeed nice. The entire arrangement stands out to me as being quite beautiful, though. It has a calm, almost mystical feel to it. This is a very nice mix! Side note: I previewed on Youtube first, and I think there might be something wrong with the version there. Around the piano solo segment there was a lot of "fuzzing" and the song occasionally dropped out entirely.
  3. This is a beautiful arrangement. Of the games mentioned I'm only familiar with Final Fantasy X and thus can't fully appreciate all of the mixing work that went into this song, but it's a beautiful listen. Excellent work to all who were involved!
  4. This is an incredibly beautiful mix. I used to hang out in the forest to hear the piano segment. This mix does a very nice job with the forest theme, and it would be fine even if it had stopped there. Yet the transition to "Corridor of Time" blew me away, especially with that cello. Amazing, amazing.
  5. I agree with SwordBreaker: the intro and outro were unique takes on this song, while the middle was done in a style that has been done many times before. I didn't mind that, though; I don't know that I'll ever get sick of electronica renditions of this song, and this remix packed a lot of energy. I think it's very well done, and I know I'll enjoy listening to this many, many times over
  6. This is a truly beautiful, emotion-filled rendition of one of the most "magical" songs encountered in a game. Bravo!
  7. I'm familiar with the Touhou franchise, but have never played any of the games. I usually avoid remixes to games that I haven't played, but figured that I'd try this mix out anyway. The description made it sound too interesting not to. I'm glad I did. I can't compare it to the original, since I've never heard it, but the melody is fantastic. The electronic tones are a pleasure (I grew up with the NES and original Gameboy, so anything even remotely 8-bit is pure nostalgia). I particularly like the pitch shift that ends the song. All around, beautifully done.
