  1. https://soundcloud.com/robkta/um-amigo-bossa-pra-ayrtontribute-to-ayrton-senna-free-download As everyone's submitting original stuff I figured out I could share something too This year has been the 20th anniversary of Ayrton Senna's death, one of the greatest F1 drivers of all time. In his honor I figured I could compose this short bossa nova piece (he was Brazilian) in his honor Short piece but I think it came out nicely. A decent tribute.
  2. Already wished a happy birthday on le Facebook, but I think it won't hurt if I do here too :3 Happy birthday mate
  3. Don't know if it does classify as VGM Remix as it's a remix of a videogame remix, but I figured out I could share this one too: a little remix I did sometime ago of halc's tune "Da Mines" from his Donkey Kong remix album Club Kong Moar disco stuff as you can hear https://soundcloud.com/robkta/halc-da-mines-robkta-baboon
  4. It would be great for me to try actually the hardware before to buy it, trust me. It's the way should be meant to buy something but the thing unfortunately is that in my hometown there are absolutely NO music equipment stores :/ the nearest one is 40 miles away... and I don't feel like driving Thanks for the advice again anyway
  5. 250$ for me is a manageable price. Plus I'm aiming to get one off Amazon as it seems the prices are more friendly. Thanks for the advice anyway
  6. Planning to train myself to DJing in prevision of maybe future live events and cons (naturally if my economical situation allows it), so I'm planning also to get a DJ controller for that. Is this a good one for starters maybe? http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GT2HMKO/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=5G3ZAK50S3A8&coliid=I29TIFCBUQPFB3
  7. So many kind words wow Thanks a lot to everyone, seriously I would have never imagined that even people here liked the album too :3
  8. Thanks for the comments man, by the way, no it's not gonna be Sonic again: I decided to work on a MegaMan & Bass remix and I'm really putting myself into it. Along with that, I also managed to set up a pretty nice OutRun remix album I'm gonna release on June, always with GameChops http://ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=46925 I made half of that, bLiNd gave me a hand with his magic :3
  9. UPDATE: Here's a more advanced demo for the tune. It doesn't cover much at the moment, just an introduction and a the main theme. Just to give you an idea where I'm taking the tune. Hope you'll like it https://www.dropbox.com/s/iok01jn94el75rj/monsieurmega_Demo01.mp3
  10. Well is not a bad point, actually. Also given the circumstance that the 25th anniversary would be in 2 years or so will surely give some time to generate interest first and then also give the chance to grab a track calmly and choose it with criteria.
  11. I'm still deciding myself, probably I'll take a track from the "scrapped" bin for Club Needlemouse or hunt for a new one. But for now I'd follow the advice and take the time to generate some interest for it first :)

  12. Thanks man Glad you liked it! For sure I'll not stay here just to "enrich the furniture" as I'm already working on my first submission
  13. If you bought both Sonic Colors and the latest Daft Punk album you'll know what this is all about. Short composition, just for a laugh :3 You can laugh too https://soundcloud.com/robkta/planet-by-wisp-planet-wisp
  14. Thanks for thinking about me :) Surely I'd like to contribute. 25 years is next year I suppose. Do I have time to claim my track in case?

  15. That might be interesting :3 plus considering it's gonna be something like 2 years from now, it will give some time to work hard on the tunes :3 I'm a little unsure on what to pick up tough :/ I might need to look up in the "Club Needlemouse Scrapped Tracks Bin" for reference I'll claim my tune asap. Anyway, throw me in
  16. https://soundcloud.com/gamechops/outrun-bay-preview I publish here a little preview for my upcoming OutRun remix album that is gonna be released on June by GameChops ! Is a 3 minutes preview edit of a "Passing Breeze" remix called "OutRun Bay" that I produced along with the amazing James Landino. Feel free to grab it as it's... well, FREE.
  17. Thumbs up for that FM bass dude, is among the best ones I have ever heard. Also great arrangement (Y) keep it up!
  18. Damn, I wish to have your amount of engineering skills that synth looks wonderful And so it does your arrangement love the SNES feeling out of it
  19. Well maybe that appeared a bit pretentious :/ considering that probably that I need to read some guidelines. Now I know... :3
  20. Shameless advertising, I know, but I figured out I could spread the word about it here too :3 On October 2013 I released with GameChops my first "official" VGM remix album: "Club Needlemouse", mastered by Dj CUTMAN and bLiNd is a 9 tracks project that pays tribute to some of the Sonic The Hedgehog franchise best tunes (at least to me) and at the same time the style of 90s dance, funk, acid jazz and club music. It spawns from the original Sonic game all the way through the latest Sonic Lost World The album is currently available for purchase on Loudr.fm for 7$, and it's also available for streaming if you go on the label's SoundCloud. If you dig it, please enjoy and spread the word Buy It or Stream It Le Tracklist: 1 - A Proper Introduction (Sonic The Hedgehog, Title Theme) 2 - Badnik's Delight (Sonic The Hedgehog, Spring Yard Zone) 3 - Millennium Future Stardust Speedway (Sonic CD, Stardust Speedway JP) 4 - Disco Absolution (Sonic 06, Dreams Of An Absolution) 5 - MJ Garden (Sonic The Hedgehog 3, Marble Garden Zone) 6 - Vanishing Apotos Horizon (Sonic Unleashed, Windmill Isle Day) 7 - Sambopolis (Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Aquatic Ruin Zone) 8 - Windy Groove (Sonic Lost World, Windy Hill) 9 - Needlemau5 - ft. bLiNd (Sonic The Hedgehog 3, Ending Theme) Oh dear, the time has sure past fast... .-.

  23. I started composing this as a "birthday tune" as this year it seems I share my age with MegaMan's I'm planning it to be my first submission to OCR. Here's a small snippet of it. Veeery small :3 https://soundcloud.com/robkta/monsieur-mega-megaman-bass
