  1. I love the way these themes are blended together, and the music style is right up my alley. Whether that alley is on the streets of Halloween Town or ends with a smokey night club from a film noir detective movie. I can't wait to hear more from The Key Combo!
  2. These are remixes that are (mostly) in an American folk music style that make me feel like I'm down on the farm during the harvest πŸ§‘β€πŸŒΎπŸŒ½πŸ„
  3. I wasn't really sure what to name this 8Track, but this is a collection of remixes done in various styles of (mostly) European folk music, that I thought sounded good together 🍻

  5. I love this remix. It does really get going after that extended, slow intro, and it's so worth the wait. This is the perfect pick-me-up for a rainy day, or any grey winter's day.
  6. I can imagine this playing during a scene where a film noir detective is searching for a vital clue, or following the lead suspect down dark streets; but it's also not so dark itself, and I agree, it's a very pleasant listen.

    8Track Noir

It was posted today! ❀️ I felt like it fit perfectly between "The Ivory Gambit" and "That's Not Funny", so I'm afraid "The Infested Arena" had to make room for it (even though I can still imagine it during a scene where the detective is searching for a vital clue, or following the lead suspect down dark streets).
  8. Wow! This is gorgeous. The cello elevates this from already a really good remix into a great one. And the entire EP is excellent.

    That 70's 8Track

Next up is "The Snake Eater's Palace, Outer Heaven" performed lived in Minneapolis, April 1975, as D.Rezzy's Super Sounds of the 70's weekend keeps on "truckin'".
  10. I've been a fan of @Tremendouz's cover of "Reset ~ Thank You" since I heard it on the Pixel Mixers "Sounds of Sunrise" album. This remix is quite different, but I love them both. This version is a bit more upbeat, but I love it's "both laid-back and punchy at the same time" vibe. Feels like perfect end-of-summer music.

    Forest Blast

Here's an atmospheric 8Track that blends remixes of "Forest Interlude (Web Woods)" into remixes of "Stickerbush Symphony (Bramble Blast)", with RebeccaETripp's "Forest Blast" as the pivot point, naturally.

Time to get your groove on with "Green Glade Groove", right here on D.Rezzy's Super Sounds of the 70's.

    That 70's 8Track

If J Damashii couldn't get you out on the dance floor, then maybe this next track will, by the man that always brings the funk, and this time he brought the mirror ball, this is "Link's Epoch" by Joshua Morse, on D.Rezzy's Super Sounds of the 70's: "Where the 70's survived".

    That 70's 8Track

D.Rezzy's Super Sounds of the 70's continues with this dance number by J Damashii, "Smooth As Honey".

    That 70's 8Track

D.Rezzy's Super Sounds of the 70's just keeps on coming with this little ditty by Cyril the Wolf, "Dancing in the Jungle".

    That 70's 8Track

I happened to be listening to "How Many Heavens Are There?" and "The Impresario" somewhat recently, and thought I'd try to put together a 70's inspired 8Track. Though I didn't realize there would be so many options to choose from! Just the disco tag alone has a bunch of great candidates. And then there's a whole other can of funk to open on top of that. I'm no expert on 70's music, so there's probably even more great remixes that I didn't think of that would fit this theme. So these are just some of my favorites that give me that "Super Sounds of the 70's" feeling.
  18. I've listened this a couple of times now, and this is a nice arrangement of some great remixes, with some very fine transitions. That transition from "You and I" into "Fathoms" is particularly smooth.
  19. I haven't watch this show myself (though I hear good things), but I thought this was a fun concept for an 8Track.

    J-Track

I've been streaming footage of the Aomori Nebuta Festival this week while listening to Japanese pop music and Japanese-style VGM, which inspired me to create this 8Track. These are just some of my favorite Japanese-style remixes, whether it's because I love their use of Japanese instruments, use of Japanese language, or just because they remind me of some of my favorite Japanese pop music.

    8Peaks

These 8 remixes remind me (either intentionally, incidentally, or just tangentially) of David Lynch's Twin Peaks television series and movies. πŸͺ΅πŸ¦‰πŸ₯§β˜• πŸŒ²β›°οΈβ›°οΈπŸŒ²
