A loss to Sovereign, and a win against Dolittle. Also, two unreported matches from the previous week, but a win and a loss, so I guess they cancel out.

I just won a game against a guy ranked 1720, and it took me less than a minute (it wasn't speed chess, it was a ten-minute game). Obviously, I had to post that here. ;Title: Yahoo! I just want to congratulate our team on kicking so much ass. We rock.

It's an unfair disadvantage to give us zero points on our byes. Our byes should be neutral. I.e., take our points for three rounds, multiply by 4/3 to give us the equivalent value for four rounds. Don't give everyone else four ronds to win points and only three rounds for us.

Two wins versus Kholdstare. He actually had me on the run for a while in the second game, invading my territory and taking a rook. It got very complicated, but I got a couple of passed pawns in the centre and began a slow push. We weren't able to finish because of connection problems, but he decided to concede rather than replay to that point.

Mm. I like our chances.

I should also mention that I had my optionals for this week with Keegan. He won both games.

Note to Salaxzar: I haven't been around much this week, and when I have been around, you haven't (last night and Wednesday night). I'll be on or near the computer for possibly a few hours this afternoon, but I'll be going out with my girlfriend for her birthday tonight, and I'm staying over, then heading straight to work in the morning, so I won't be online again until tomorrow night, after nine (central). So if you see this and wanna pop on and send me a message, we can play today. If not, try to be on tomorrow night so we can get this done.

I wasn't playing my best last night, for some reason. If I'm going to ever give Keegan a run for his money, obviously I need to be at the top of my game. I haven't seen that Jeff guy yet. Actually he signed off just as I came on the other day and that's it. I know I haven't been around much this week, but I'll be home all day today until I have to leave for work. Jeff! Come online and play me sometime in the next five hours.

I think that sounds like a lot of fun, but I think the teams should be swapped out once in awhile, rather than being permanent. Maybe we could even do trades, like in pro sports?

I won my second match against Jack. We were even in material, down to five pawns, two rooks, and one knight each, and then I took his knight in a straight-up gain. He resigned. Well, I showed up when I said I would, again. I've been waiting online here for about two and a half hours, again. Jessica's not responding to my messages, again. I received some messages from earlier today because I left aim on before I left for work, but no response to the messages I've sent since arriving home. I'll be back again tomorrow night, just after nine, North American Central Standard Time. Approximately 21.5 hours from the time of this post. I'll check online for her and I'll play her if she's around. But I'll be spending New Year's Eve with my lady friend, so if we don't catch up tomorrow, I don't know when we're gonna get this done. For this reason, as of right now, I'm reporting Jessica. So she'd better show up soon.

Well I'm here now, and Jessica doesn't appear to be idle, but I'm not getting any response. I guess no one's home. I'll stick around for a bit, but if we don't get to play tonight, I'll be back again this time tomorrow.
