  1. Haha, well it took a while considering it's been nearly nine months since your graduation. Nonetheless, considering you're a webdrive short, I'll burn vgfs 63 and 64 to disc, take them with me to the labs tomorrow afternoon (apparantly my dorm computer is blocked from FTPs >.>) and host them (or at least one depending on how much space I'm allotted) there for ravon and Compyfox. I said I could do that when calling off the air prior to VGF75.
  2. Speaking of which, what happened to Larry's web folder???
  3. Sounds good One tiny question though; what happened to zyko?
  4. I'm also done with my competition menu track. Whether it ends up as backing music on the site or the project itself, I've done everything I can to make sure it works. Also, has anyone heard from BrainCells? I've tried contacting him conerning his Sandopolis collab and I haven't heard anything back from him yet
  5. And I'm a few days late, but to coincide with the show's release I would like to share the sound bites that I used for "Little Sisters of Illusion". All four are hosted here, complete with one bonus clip and an RTF file with information on what they said in case you can't understand them >.>
  6. I have it; while I may have problems on trying to incorporate it was still very thoughtful of a suggestion
  7. I've had my sketches done for a while; they're scanned on the comp, it's just that I need to make some light adjustments to their presentation before I send them off to you (the scanner takes them in very HUGE and I don't want that X_x).
  8. I'll give that a listen to be sure to be sure. Nice catch Seriously though, the one thing that would have made it cooler is if she messed around with even more sound effects floating around the studio or something, like before the show started when she used all these SFX to describe their relationship. Eh, when she next comes on the air I will make sure she does that [EDIT: And... oh snap, VGF69 is out? Nice, sounds appropriate considering my cousins are going to visit me today (as I said on the phone). I'll be sure to dive into it.]
  9. If you want any solo piano stuff, I'm your bitch Whether you want to use me or not (and if not a feasible reason will be highly appreciated), I'm still pledging my full support into this. Good luck
  10. Received Just out of clarification, I know that in the first WIP you want where the track is going, although are you looking for the sketch of a full arrangement, or a fleshed out portion of the song, or something like that? Haha, too many commas
  11. And the Liontamer comes into the niiiiiiight! */trogdor theme song*
  12. I have all 20 fingers and toes crossed. My day sucked to the point that I forgot to take my project files to the lab so I could barely do a damn thing with what I was doing, so let's hope this won't make it any worse
  13. Nice try nuts, but you know i will work on the production a good deal on my own mixes within the coming month
  14. Well my thoughts on this are if the Competition Menu interpretation doesn't go down too well as a result for the main album I might pick up Boss 1 and try that. But still, I know a lot of people are going to squabble every single last opportunity now O_o
  15. Arek for the win! ...but yeah, that reminds me; maybe I should backup my first post on CoE to make sure he doesn't edit that either
  16. Now that the OLR thing has been brought up, I need to say that for a mix on a project for said site it just doesn't work. Sure, it's as happy as hell and shows a nice quirky touch to the original but it's just not funny/shoddiliy produced enough. The way I see it, Mystik Kwest is to OLR what Hedgehog Heaven is to OCR - nice songs, but not entirely fitting of their standards. (If anyone wants to question me about that, please tackle it by PMs. I refuse to have this topic messed up because of this.) Now for a sophomore OCR mix, the story is entirely different. For most of the time I appreciate most of the moods brought into this and much of the creative uses of the original here, and I also think that the mastering has also been given a more subtle touch than what I saw in the VGMix/OLR versions. I did mention something in my ThaSauce writeups about not interpretating the source material enough, but having finally played the game over Christmas break, I can say it took the sections and expanded on them pretty well. I think what I was meant to point out was that it didn't go beyond the two eight-bar chord sequences it used throughout, which somehow could feel disappointing for the more daring listener. But still that's okay. I know that the vox in the original were taken out as a result, and for the people that was okay, however this has yielded two side-effects for a result - minimalism, especially in the second part, and a (complete?) lack of a climax. Surely there could be something else to put in their place to make it work out just as much as the VGMix version. So yeah, while I'm a little skeptical about it reaching the site as it is, it's still a nicely done effort. I wish I could throw in my ThaSauce writeup for good measure but given that's a revision after the original rejection I don't think it'll be useful Still, nicely done on the solo effort back there. I'll still be on the lookout for you across the community and so forth.
  17. Even though the idea does sound interesting, I know that people are going to shoot me down for getting my vox exposed again. >.> I also saw the reaction to Pixietricks's vocal tracks for CS, which were half-positive half-ugh as far as I saw, and I seem to be a little shaken over it. Still, I *might* have a look. Is there any way you can PM the poetry to me? I'll see if I can take a look at it and see what I can do. And... I swear your name sounds familiar. Are you on DA by any chance? If you were I think you were one of the first people I watched O_o
  18. Even though the live show was off I gave him a ring anyway, and he told me that VGF67 is up (and... c'mon, my voice wasn't that bad; at least I didn't go into chipmunk mode ), and he has also put up the chatlogs for VGFs 69-72. They should be up on Paige's server.
  19. Yeah, I was about to give you Proph's mail address (and if all else fails there's also PMs). He even told me he was fighting a bug this past month, but I'm very optimistic that he will pull through for the album. My side of the deal is coming along okay. I should have plenty of time to work on it some more this week now that I don't have to do a damn thing in the PRC
  20. Oh no... I would say "that sucks" but still, I feel so sorry for him. I hope he'll be okay. Still, because of this I'm now concerned about what will happen to his Jipang placement on Children of Erdrick as well as some of his stuff on Kyle, Starky and Usa's projects. Whichever happens, I will pray for the best.
  21. Well I ain't too far with my proposed sketches for the copy and hammer abilities. I should be able to have them ready by the deadline I was at least given. Mind you, it's not finals that are trying their best to hold me back from my work; it's Harvest Moon >.> Still, I will be there. I promise.
  22. Your name's put on the mirrors list, as far as I can see Just be patient, good sir.
  23. If I get no tech feedback concerning Eagle Tower I consider that as done compositionally. Any feedback that I do get however will be taken into consideration for the final version.
  24. Nah, Larry's on Winter Break until Wednesday (I think). I think there's a normal schedule coming in from next Saturday onwards. While this topic is up, I remember on some show people in the chat were looking for when G.I. Joe jumped the shark. I know it's some point after episode 50, but I can't seem to remember; that thought's been bugging me for the last few days
  25. I passed a fourth demo of Eagle Tower to Epo, however he hasn't seen my damn message yet And I passed my half of Inside the Egg to Gray. Should anything else stir up, this topic will be the first to know.
