It was just before I posted that. Was on, then I got a server message that I was getting kicked off, and now I can't get back on. Oh well, try again tomorrow morning.

Was that you who kicked me off, Crowbar? I was in for a couple of hours, now I'm getting the outdated client thing again.

I downloaded the big map, but windows 7 doesnt seem to like it. Apparently it's in an 'incorrect bitmap format'

Either that map is huge compared to the last one, or my stuff is way smaller than I thought it was! You can see my boat, but not really anything else. Oh well. How soon can we expect the server back up?

yellow would've been goldblocks. That was the old server when we were duping everything. Can anyone do a full overhead or isometric map of the current server? I'd like to see how far we've stretched.

I went exploring to the Northeast and came across these: A tree growing on a floating dirt island. Kinda cute. This natural formation is just awesome. It's unfortunate noone can build there without destroying it (as soon as you touch it, all the sand will fall down.) But damn if I wasn't impressed. There was even a lavafall to the side that I forgot to screencap.

Ok Fire, I'm gonna float myself as a potential server host. I recently bought a new decent modem/router so my connection is nice and solid now. CPU is only a couple months old (i7) and I run nothing else. The only two cons I can think of are that I'm in Australia, so the server might be more laggy for everyone due to distance, and I'd need to leave my computer running 24/7, which would cost me a lot more than it does currently. I'd probably make it so you need to give me a dollar to be whitelisted on the server each month just to cover the extra juice. Thoughts? Edit: of course, if the more well-funded individuals on here wish to buy credits for other people who are up to their eyes in debt, I'd be happy for that, it'd certainly make you popular.

Come on, the server is still down? Surely the TF2 servers aren't all populated overnight in america. Kinda sucks if minecraft is being kept down for empty TF2 servers overnight in america.

So is this coming back up or not? It's 24 hours now.

Notch has admitted there are several MP bugs that need ironing out. He's made them top priority. Once MP is fixed up, Minecraft should shrink dramatically in CPU, memory and disk usage.

Screw TF2

I went on a 2hour hike last night, Halcyon and stumbled across your fortress, I was pretty impressed when I came across that rock outcropping. Took me a while to find a way in though!

I like building them, and it's nice to walk along them. Alternative travelways are a good thing. I use highways and canals. Also I've finished my Tanker project on the docks, so if you wanna check it out, come have a looksee. Has a big indoor area in the hull. I'm looking for ideas for what to put on and in it!
