I R TALK GUD ON INTRAWEB!!1 edited original post. another edit: then for me I'd say Glitch music. before 2005, the idea that you could use clipping, skipping, blips, static, etc. as part of the music, or create an entire song with only just that stuff was unheard of to me (as I was really into mainstream electronic music). also: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nymphomatriarch

I'm sure the design is good and people will enjoy and such, but can we have the option of going back to vb's default template?

so small update, I think legal torrents removed the torrent file (although I haven't gotten an e-mail from them... I suppose they won't bother telling me).

and really, that's all I'm asking. a simple 'lol you got me i'mma take everything down now' is all I'm asking. that song is not mine.

oh I find this funny and sad, but it also pisses me the fuck off because not only is he taking credit for my mixes (I know of at least one other person that's doing that with one mix and that's why I'm not so huff huff about it), but taking credit for my ORIGINAL tunes. Shit I created from nothing. And then pawning everything off as if its his own it's like, it hurts man!! ¡__¡

well one of the other album was an inuyasha album, with music from the show )or whatever) played on piano (with the piano being sequenced with a horrible soundfont/sample). the other thing I find interesting is this guy has the balls to "license" the album with creative commons. also the torrents for the other albums are still available on legaltorrent

WE GOT OURSELVES A LIVE ONE!!! so upon searching the internet, I stumbled across and heard something that sounds awfully familiar.reading the description section, the song is credited as... which is funny cause it sounds reeeeally close to a remix I once madeso I decided to browse this website and get this 'album' of his, turns out everything on his self titled album is either a song or remix I made. So I sent him an e-mail of what overcoat told me to say: "I downloaded ur album. Great stuff. Keep it up." (or something along those lines) to see what (if anything) he says (I have my handle in my e-mail address). He has yet to reply, but a couple of hours after sending him a msg, his website which was up and had other "albums" on there is now down (with only a Dead. msg remaining (I wonder if that means he got my message?)). I'm still a little annoyed since he still has a myspace page up with my songs (and possibly other artists as I doubt he makes chiptune music), and posted a torrent to "his" album on Legal torrents, as well (I'm sure) at isohunt, and fenlopy just to name a few.

seeing how zircon posted this today, and remembering back to the nitro sale, it is really wise to wait a couple of days/a week before purchasing as it took me a while to get the serial number and stuff for that program. also they don't like paypal outside the US >=( . lol zephyr has 1337 posts.

Newbie remixer looking for some help
Skrypnyk replied to TheWhiteHowler's topic in Music Composition & Production
you're not gonna remix anything unless you know how to use the program. also acknowledging that you've "downloaded many of the programs" will get you spat on by people who actually spent the money to buy the programs. -
1. recruiting Official & Unofficial Arrangement Projects (Tracking)
Skrypnyk replied to Bahamut's topic in Recruit & Collaborate!
who's fault is that? if you can't invest the time and energy then maybe I dunno you shouldn't join the project? Shit happens, you can't do it, you bail and hope someone else can accomplish it in a reasonable time frame. I think patience tends to wear itself out after 3 years. Hell I think after 6 months patience is wearing thin. yea jdgfgts i'm talking about you! I think this nature and structure is just a crutch to make one project after another. -
1. recruiting Official & Unofficial Arrangement Projects (Tracking)
Skrypnyk replied to Bahamut's topic in Recruit & Collaborate!
if there isn't enough interest for a particular project then why not shut the project down, release what has been made and move on? (although I suppose that question should be directed to all the directors... and it is) -
1. recruiting Official & Unofficial Arrangement Projects (Tracking)
Skrypnyk replied to Bahamut's topic in Recruit & Collaborate!
you know if you eliminate like 7 of those projects, you can use the people who are suppose to work on those projects for the others and maybe stuff can get done within 4 years. -
Assigning Sliders and Knobs on the MPD24.
Skrypnyk replied to bebog12's topic in Music Composition & Production
right click what you want to control > link to controller... once that screen loads, just move or slide the knob/slider. Screen should go away and you should be able to manually control said knob/slider. alternatively, if you're using a vst that won't let you right click the knob/slider, then left click the knob and tweak it, then tools > last tweaked > link to controller... -
Donkey Kong Country 2: Serious Monkey Business - History
Skrypnyk replied to Geoffrey Taucer's topic in Projects
exactly! "ReMixes" are obviously a bastardization form of the awesomeness of "remixes" why can't people just accept that? -
