And I think I speak for most people (especially myself) when I say your first songs, remixes, originals, demos, whatever you want to call them, they will suck in the eyes of many many others. I've been using FL for just under 3 years now and I still make crap =D . Best thing to do is ask for advice, take what you want, and improve. ....and welcome to ocr fuck you, i can make vanguard sound HAWT from presets (layer layer layer detune detune detune) +1 for the Waldorf attack layer layer layer detune detune detune? Wouldn't that mean you are editing the patches instead of just relying on them? DERRRRRRRR???

I actually like WASP. But I have the demo version, and I don't want to buy it just yet, so I can't say I use it =o . to add to the list: Speech Synth -1

I got FL6....as sort of an early Christmas gift. ...for myself. I plan on getting a bunch of Trilogy and an Edriol PCR-80 later this week...well, ordering it. Should come later in Jan.

'FL6 (coming end of 2005)' This is coming straight from the FL newsletter. So...I would assume perhaps a week before X-mas? Or sometime inbetween.

Still need more people eh? Ok, I can make a little somethin somethin for the bonus track. It might be a little short though, I'll try and get it to more then 2 minutes.

Assign 'X' Sample, soundfont, synth, etc. into a FX Channel. Go to that channel and select 'Fruity Blood Overdrive' or 'Fruity Fast Dist'. Two simple FX's that come with fruity loops and can be pretty effective if used right.

When I used sound blaster for output, even with the latency all the way up it still lagged fairly bad. I switched it to ASIO Multimedia and it's helped a lot, but again, even with this I still had problems. However, thanks a million Gecko. I never knew about the Smart Disable and it took off like 50% of CPU usage . Also, I do use a lot of reverbs and plugins like that, so I'll keep that tip in mind. In response to jakznake: 1) http://www.fruityloops.com/ you can find the demo 2) I believe prices vary from 49$ to 149$. I tcan be order off that site as well.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know how to make FL4 less of a CPU whore? Usually, when I'm near completing a song, it tends to lag like a mofo, plus the song would play for a couple of seconds, stop, then start playing again.

Ahhh Kirby. Kirby's Dream Course was one of the greatest golf based games ever created. I wouldn't mind being apart of this so, as for my music: Nameless is my latest latest work...in progress .
