By small number of tracks on sonic CD I can only assume you're lumping all the different temporal themes for a stage as just one massive track. Personally I think that at least the "east" version of the themes should be mixed on a case-by-case basis since while many of the temporal themes are just slight variations of the others in the stage there are also quite a few themes that vary wildly between temporal shifts...though as a massive sonic cd fag I'd ideally want to see a project with every single theme covered.

vastly.inferior. I couldn't disagree more (except the part where future themes do blow especially hard). Now, the man didn't really have much choice in the matter and did the best he could considering all the past themes were pretty much welded into the game when it came from japan...his best is certainly not bad music it's just not nearly as good as the original version overall...and on a more personal gripe pretty much all of the themes are wildly unfitting with the stages themselves. also, on the topic of sonic games, the sonic 3D blast jap/eu (gens) version of the soundtrack was oh so much better than the na (saturn) one. example Gene gadget zone (saturn): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOxK6wIBe9c = Corporate Powerpoint Presentation Gene gadget zone (gens): = Awesome

I too wouldn't be opposed to a sonic CD project, just jap/eu version since with the exception of sonic boom the american soundtrack was vastly inferior.

My newest piston contraption is one that super launches me 30~ blocks up and then punts me 30~ blocks forward, it's really quite thrilling, also a new way to get to a house completely surrounded by a lava lake.

also made a secret passage corridor but that wasn't shown in the vid.

I didn't plug the update expecting it to be uploaded to the server, just that it now works with the new version of MC for those that like the piston mod. also I made a thing:

pistons have been updated to work with 1.4

water movement is slower, for players it effectively means you can't walk against water currents, for mobs...I don't know but it wrecked my dark rooms :C

baw, new water mechanics broke most of my item intake from my darkroom mob grinder.

I'm going to add that to all my sp worlds!

+1 on penumbra series and amnesia: the dark descent. hell, even penumbra: requiem was an unsettling and tense experience the first run through.
