  1. The first season was, on the whole, pretty miserable. It had a few good episodes and a few good moments, but Eliza Dushku is not capable of carrying a show as lead actress. Fortunately, it's a Joss Whedon show, and the supporting cast are all fantastic. That said, the only thing that really made me excited for season two was Epitaph One, which was utterly brilliant. Before that it was blind hope that the show would get better that kept me watching, but Epitaph One showed plainly what Dollhouse was capable of being.
  2. Just picked this up, although I have been meaning to for a while now. After the first listen through (I'm now re-listening to specific tracks) I have to say, it's phenomenal. I've come to expect a certain level of quality from my favorite [or any, really] OCR artists, and I never expect to be disappointed in the commercial albums they release. So what blew me away was the diversity of styles and genres here. And it never felt like a jarring change of pace, it was always just right. Much harder to pull off, I imagine, than a singularly themed album. The album builds up really well, with a slow change in style from track to track, until it peaks in energy with Danse Macabre and 300.5, before simmering down to a lovely finish. Of course, now I'm left eager for more. As I said, phenomenal, and I hope to see another commercial album from you in the near future.
  3. It feels like I just picked up Mass Media Constant yesterday. Oh well, everything on my list of music to buy gets shifted down a notch. X_X
  4. I just caught this, Warhead being one of my favorite tracks off Antigravity. I thought it worked really well in the scene. This was also one of the best episodes we've had in a long time. Coincidence? I think not.
  5. Speed Highway is a great melody to work with, and you've done a lot of justice to the original. Lyrically it's fantastic, I love what you've come up with here. Vocally, again, fantastic. I'm not crazy about the sound of the verses, but the vocals of the chorus really shine through. Once we get past the vocals to we get a little simple, classic SA1 sound before it cuts into something a bit more upbeat. You've paced it really well. A really great job, I'm looking forward to the finished product.
