something i think would be cool is if you did one that was only game music. like, no remixes, just the straight game rips. do a variety of different genres each session - maybe focusing on a theme - but doing just game music brings people back to the source. i realized the other day that i've never really listened to the originals for three of my five favorite mixes. that's terrible. the point of this site is to bring vg music appreciation to the same level as every other type of music, right? so i think that a straight game-rip/ost file podcast would keep people focused on the original music and the composers that wrote them, rather than the sick beats someone layered on the midi.
of course, this is just my opinion. i'd be willing to help find tracks for you, dyne.

shit, new music from blind? i'm not kidding when i say he was my main influence when i started mixing - i wanted to write music like him. his Extreme-G mix was one of my favorite tracks for YEARS. i don't do as much trance anymore, but blind's still one of my favorite artists to listen to in the genre.

Well, you were, once I got the arrangement done. As it is, it's really short, and just minor variations. I kinda forgot about it, and it needs some major work for what we're doing here. I'll contact you when I feel like I'm 80% there.

I still can't believe Tetrisphere won, and I anxiously await this. So far, no other artist has dared remix a track from this game.
i've dared eight so far, and kmet and da are daring another one with input from me on both. so, i'm really hoping that there's ONE mix on it that gets into OCR. i've got two or three that i feel are good enough quality to make it in, so we'll see. i've been accepted twice and rejected eleven times at last count, so my opinion doesn't seem to matter any more.

Titles are pretty much the only reason I still play--good thing, too, as they're incredibly time-consuming, so I still have a lot to do. 29/33 for Canthan Vanquisher, and Elona is next.
i'm working on elona right now. i'm like seven away from protector of tyria on two different accounts, but some of those bonuses are so time-consuming if you don't have a sweet group that knows what they're doing.

you can buy either game for 30 bucks at a variety of fansites, and sams club offers all three for fifty, in a packaged box set (GotY edition of prophecies, as well as boxed version of the other two).

I said he's harder than Yiazmat. I didn't say he was HARD to beat. I only died the first two times because I didn't equip the proper things to protect against Darkja. After two failures, I learned from my mistake.
Also, I didn't use cheap tactics like quickenings pulled off right before he puts up the pailing.. Or the old I'm the suck so I'll use Decoy, Reverse, Stop trick.
Yeah, if you use those, then it's a quick battle.
Also, the only way I see you beating that guy in 40 secs is if you are one of those really lamer people who use the dark matter when it was charged all the way up.
its not cheap if you can do it every time. they recommend using the nicopawhatsit and remedies on every boss, for goodness sake.

The fact that the locales match up with the lyrics and the dude types out the lyrics in time to the song makes this an amazing treasure.

and i lolled at dopple boppler. i think this is a girl, since they mention being someone's girlfriend. i think. i was laughing so hard at that point i was having difficulty finishing reading the words in time.
i particularly like the sledding.
