  1. A lot of their recent games have been hentai-oriented it seems. SNK apparently got a few galge (girl game, hentai game) artists for a lot of little games. I would guess that would boost their earnings by a few thousand percent. I'm wondering what the mouth icon is for...
  2. Finally a game for perverts everywhere: Now all they need to do is make a pretty-boy version in order to complete the circle of life via the order of the Prince of Bel-Air.
  3. Not sure you guys watched this yet, but 1up covered TGS for PS3 and 360: http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3153999 And though the pricerange of the games are out of my reach, I think the consoles' situations are much better than all the negative hype surrounding them (especially for the PS3) are.
  4. I'm still biased for the Gameboy Advance system since it had everything from an SNES calibur hardware to the hundreds of great games on it. And GBA Micro is probably the single most intuitive handheld ever made, even if it is almost too small. By the way, the new Coral Pink and Onyx (Black) color DS Lites are out now. I was pretty much waiting for two years on the new revamped pink version to come out and now it's reality.
  5. Still waiting for a new worthwhile DS game that ISN'T a sequel. Not that I have any problems with those games. I'll probably pick up a few JRPG remakes if they're good.
  6. I knew it'd happen too, but I'm too impulsive with handheld purchases. I'm not even going to sell the old one since it's too fucking pricey and I'd rather have an insurance system.. Capitalism..
  7. ^ As for dead pixels, ask the store clerk directly if they will exchange units if the item you've bought has dead pixels in them. Some stores ask for an insurance fee, while others don't. I had to do that twice for the old GBA and GBA:SP.
  8. I LOL'd: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmcOn8j6Y-w
  9. Bleh. Anyway, I wonder if the "up to 40 characters" thing is also a hoax as well. Probably is. Unless they want to make the game so unbalanced as to be unplayable.
  10. While that is true, it somehow shows the developer's lack of creativity whenever they do so.
  11. I just hope they don't have three versions of Links around though.. I think two versions of any characters is pretty excessive. And more reason to have them become the new "shotoken" characters of SSB. Copy-pasta.
  12. Now that Ridley is semi-confirmed, there's no reason for people to bitch that certain types of characters won't be feasible. Even with someone like Sonic, Sonic has plenty of melee moves as well in his own games. Also, his Sonic-spin move has been emulated by Kirby a long time ago anyway.
  13. The hardest part about Sunshine was getting all the coins and shine-sprites, anyway. But yeah, NSMB really isn't a difficult game at all. It's probably the easiest Mario game yet (I'm not going to count Super Princess Peach since it was such an abomination)
  14. I'm more worried about the "transforming into Zero Samus under certain circumstances" part. But if they're going to wedge two, essentially different characters into a single slot, then I think it's only fair if they do that to Mario/Dr.Mario and some other characters.
  15. Not sure if this newsbit is new, but apparently, Zero Samus isn't an entirely new addition: http://www.smashbros.com/en/characters/chara3/index.html So Samus transforms into Zero Samus under certain circumstances.
  16. Two words: Sonic Rush I agree, except that's a Sega game. I was talking about the musical efforts in Nintendo's games as of late. They seemingly don't even know how to remix old tunes right. But I think it all makes sense since Nintendo is seemingly using new composing talent. Though I think I'm giving them too much credit for calling them 'talents'.
  17. The game is great, but the music is pretty much shit. Atleast compared to the masterpiece of past Mario games' Koji Kondo compositions. On second thought, the music is shit even taking out the comparison. Nintendo's DS games have been great, but musically, they have been lacking IMO. MK:DS pretty much had some of the worst sound/music design for the series and NSMB's music is at times grating. I turn the music off and play MP3s instead.
  18. Atleast none of the scrolling stages in SSB games are as demanding as the ones in Power Stone.. But those were fun because there was the real threat of death just because the stage was too tough to go through.
  19. Tourneytards? In my SSB? I just wish a lot of people play item-enables matches online so I can win via a fluke.
  20. I did too. But SD artwork still isn't exactly appealing. I guess it's wrong to have preferences, huh?
  21. I want Little Mac in SSBB... The one from NES.
  22. Yeah. I'd daresay that just looks plain bad. Never liked the super-deformed u("SD art", if you want to get technical) in FF9 even though the game itself was good.
  23. I'm curious about that pseudo-sequelfor Ouendan. Elite Beat Agents it's called. And I wonder how the localization of Ouendan is coming along..
  24. Atleast they finally get Wario in there. Yey.
  25. I can see where you're coming from, but I'm not talking about the American pop-horror. More like the indie stuff.
