  1. Hello to all the amazing Ocremix comunity, My name is Carlo Francesco Lopez and i wanna share with you my latest recording. Its a medley of Castlevania 3:Dracula's Curse. I hope you like it, cheers!!
  2. I'm putting up a mix I did for this theme many years ago just for fun. I've been told it has a bit if a darker feel to it for like an infiltration scene / fight. Hope you like it. Cheers!
  3. Earlier this summer I released this 5-track techy, glitchy, electronic EP called spherical structures, with a thematic setting somewhere around the world introduced in William Gibson’s Neuromancer. The EP is free to download through Bandcamp, just hit 0 as the price and you’re good to go. Oh, and I also made a bit epileptic video for the first track as well. Enjoy!
  4. this one will be remastered in the future because my old headphones broke and had to use some really cheap ones. but i havent put anything out in several months so i decided to upload it. as far as composition tho its complete in my book. never heard this tune in a drum n bass style so i thought it would be quite interesting. https://soundcloud.com/djsatsui123/streets-of-rage-attack-the-barbarian-drum-n-bass-remix
  5. Dylan Wiest (Wiesty) and I collabed for this track like a year ago and I never mastered it. Now I mastered it and thought I'd throw it up here. Unfortunately the project files are trashed so I can't make any changes. Feel free to throw out critiques, but I can't actually make changes. Me: Live sax and arrangement Wiesty: Live keys and drums https://soundcloud.com/xprtnovice/how-many-heavens-are-there
  6. https://soundcloud.com/zack-parrish/terra Been working on this for a few weeks, full orchestral arrangement of Terra's Theme from Final Fantasy VI, including a flute solo and irish whistle solo(both performed). Free to download(from URL above) as well!
  7. Made this version of bloody tears based on the NES version a long time ago. I'm just putting it up for fun. Cheers!
  8. Here's my mix of stage 1 from the Sega Genesis / Megadrive version of Ghouls N Ghosts. Enjoy.
  9. This mix is based on the Neo Geo Cart / MVS version of Shingo's theme. Cheers!
  10. Here's my mix of the first stage from the old school space shoot-em-up on SNES. Enjoy.
  11. Here's a mix I did of the Frankenstein Stage from Castlevania 1.
  12. Here's a version I made of the final stage in Castlevania 1. Enjoy.
  13. https://soundcloud.com/electricmudkip/pokemon-rse-ending-theme-remix Hey OCR! First-timer here on the forums. As a bit of background, I've been remixing for three years, and I like Pokemon a lot. I also mostly only focus on electronic genres. My main reason behind posting today is to ask a question that I've been wondering about for a while now: Is this structure of remix too liberal for OCR standards? I know most of my work probably is, and I already regret rashly deciding to send off a different remix to be judged for this very reason alone (whoops), but this is probably one of my more source-heavy tracks in a sense so as to know if this is more acceptable or not would be very much appreciated. Of course, if anyone has any extra criticisms, I'd love to hear them--I'm still very much an amateur when it comes to music, and I know I make a lot of dumb mistakes, haha. Thanks in advance!
  14. Not the metal type I usualy do this time. I hope you enjoy this little tune I made a long time ago, but decided to realese anyway
  15. Yes. The whole thing is the title, lol. It's actually part of a trilogy of songs - a suite of sorts called "City of Love" centered around living in my home city of San Francisco. This is the 2nd part. I think this is one of the best songs I've written all year. While still being new wave-y, I also experimented with island rhythms. I think the sound comes from the saturated analog mix and the reverby/delay-y-ness of the mix and vocals. I know it's not proper mixing, but it works for this song, and I'm not changing it. City Of Love - Golden Gate Pt. 2 "Love On the Run"
  16. Here's my version of the cave theme Into The Darkness for FF4. Enjoy!
  17. This is my version of one of my favorite battle themes of all time for the Final Fantasy Series. Hope you like it.
  18. Made this several years ago, and I'm putting it up for fun. In this track, I tried to give everything more of a funk feel. Hope you like it. Enjoy!
  19. Here's my remix of Magic House for FF6 (FF3 on SNES). I start the track off with a little traveling music as the heroes explore the house. Then, the theme comes alive as they're attacked from all sides. Lastly, the piece finishes as the heroes approaching Relm painting the boss before it comes alive to attack them. Hope you like it. Cheers!
  20. I just finished making an arrangement of an old SSB Crusade theme (A SSB Fangame for PC). Any feedback is greatly appreciated,
  21. Hey OCR, This is my first time posting any work on OCR, but I've been arranging video game music for most of my life. This is a full orchestral arrangement of music from a few of the Zelda games that I made as a demo for the folks that run Video Games Live, since my primary passion is writing for live musicians. I made it in Logic X using primarily VSL and EastWest samples, though I've expanded considerably since then: https://soundcloud.com/trevorgomesmusic/zelda-medley-2014/s-UXvvu I based a lot of the ideas in it on a marching band field show I wrote when I was 14, which was (thankfully) never performed. Anyway, I'd love to get some feedback, particularly regarding the mix. I'm confident in my arranging chops (though there are some things I'd change, in retrospect), but I'm definitely not where I'd like to be yet with mixing. Also, if any of you enjoy my work and would like to collaborate some time, please let me know! Though I'm new to the community, I'm very passionate about video game music. I look forward to interacting with you fine folks! -Trevor P.S., If I've done anything wrong with the posting protocol, please let me know. I plead ignorance!
  22. Put together a version of Plosive Attack from Parasite Eve 1 on PSX. Hope you like it. Cheers!
  23. Here is an orchestral medley of themes from the GENESIS years of Sonic the Hedgehog I had recorded a year or two ago:
