Not a remix, but a remake of the original. I'm not that experienced, but the hardest part about making this wasn't programming it but learning the parts from the original. Took a while -

The mix is maybe a little darker/quieter than your average 2013 metal album, but I think the extra low-end sounds nice if you are listening to it at high(ish) volumes. What do you guys think?

I'm trying to evolve my sound so I spent much more time than usual on this song and hope I did alright. Greetings from magfest hopefully someone still finds time to give some feedback. I made this for the 10th anniversary round of the PRC. This is first remix I've made that I really really WANT to see completed. Although the plan changed as I was working on it, i settled on a more aquatic vibe, which I hope comes through. https://soundcloud.com/jesse-mitchell-3/edge-of-the-dream-dream-of-the someone said it gets a bit repetative near the end, so maybe ill have to fix that. This is my first submission since 2005's Project Chaos... where'd all the time go!? In any case, it's the theme song to LocoRoco (originally by Nobuyuki Shimizu) done in the style of the Hawaii Five-O intro theme (by The Ventures). I'm not certain whether this meets submission criteria for OCR as it's very, very short and stays fairly close to the source materials, but I wanted a chance to share it with the community in any case. If people like it but it needs to be longer to get onto OCR, I'll consider extending it out - but for now I'm happy with its short, intro-theme format. I love Oscar Araujo's work on the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow saga, and I tried to imitate his style, especially what I heard in LoS2's demo. While I don't have a 200-piece live orchestra, I'm proud of what I could create in a short amount of time. Hello ! This is my first post here, I just discovered this site. I hope I'm not doing anything wrong ! I started a youtube channel focused on video games musical covers. Mainly in a kind of progressive rock / metal style. Anyway, I covered the Super Mario Bros theme... Since it's been done to death, I did it with a twist, I rewrote all the harmony and melody to give it a truly evil and mean sound !
