Paperboy 'Peaperboayh' Ah, Paperboy. I liked this game for about 20 minutes. This is a cool mix, but of course I don't recognize it from the game. Sounds kind of "house" at times, if that is a legitimate description. Not a whole lot of variety here, but worth a download if you like "Beastie Boys" style percussion.

OutRun 'Passing Breeze ('97 BIT Offcut Mix)' Passing Breeze has probably always been my favorite Out Run music selection. It's also the favorite of Hiro, who composed the music for Out Run. Chris Abbott has taken that theme and made all the instruments sound really nice and smooth. Not a short song by any stretch, but that's a good thing since it is a good mix of a good song. It seems a bit more calm than the original version due to a slightly slower tempo, but not too much slower to be significant. Chris hasn't changed anything at all melody-wise, save for the cool ending, so if you've played Out Run before then you pretty much know you're getting a nicer sounding version of that. -

NiGHTS into dreams... 'Merry Little Christmas' This is a very light, very Christmassy piece. It’s too bad its late spring, because I’m sure I could give this a much better review on December 24th. But I will say that it does put me in the mood for some eggnog, regardless of what time of year it is. Excellent work, Dale North, keep it up. -

trance Cloud Dweller - Orbital inspired Trance

Hey there guys. I recently finished this simple little trance track and thought I'd share it here for anyone who likes relaxing trance music. This track actually came about as I was playing with the Mandachord in the game Warframe. You can make silly little songs with it and play them in the game as a bard character to buff your allies. I also had Orbital on the mind as I was adapting my silly Mandachord song in to a full track, and this was the result. Of course, "adapting" is kind of a stretch here, since you can only make very basic loops with the Mandachord that are only four bars long with simple drums, a bass line, and a melody. You're also limited to a D-Minor Pentatonic scale and a BPM of 120 to boot, so the resulting "song" can only be so complex. But I see the limitation as an interesting challenge when I try to turn it in to a full track in FL Studio, so I enjoyed the process a lot. I've actually done another track like this in the past, which turned out a lot different from this one in terms of the song's overall tone. Anyway, I hope you like it. Feel free to lay out any criticisms you may have. I'm always open to it.
