Malcos Posted January 30, 2003 Posted January 30, 2003 Whoa, this must be some dynamic shit, my speakers are moving! Oh damn, the songs been cut off at 1.10. I'll continue judging this when I get the full version.
Saunders Posted February 2, 2003 Posted February 2, 2003 - Very bassy. Too bassy maybe. - Can definitely hear some default FLP samples in the synths and percussion. - Not overly exciting. Well, I'm not personally impressed by this song, and the truth is I am really torn on it. On one hand it doesn't sound bad, but on the other hand it's boring and not much happens. Going with the 'gut feeling' here. Vote: No
DarkCecil13 Posted February 2, 2003 Posted February 2, 2003 The mastering here is not that great. The bass frequencies are overly emphasized. Then again, the bassline seems to be missing. This mix really needs some work on its dynamics. The strings panned directly down the middle doesn't work out very well. NO
Protricity Posted February 5, 2003 Posted February 5, 2003 More effort, This is too short and simple. Clippage NO This song would work as an intro to a song, but as it stands, its not much of anything.
Malcos Posted February 15, 2003 Posted February 15, 2003 This is not too bad, but when the main part comes in with the drums I could hear clipping, and digital clipping doesn't sound nice. Sound like he just did an eq of the whole song at the end instead of adding a real bassline to it. NO Work on sorting out the clipping and add a bassline.
