  1. About 15 years ago a few of us from the old ocremix chatroom (and others) collabed to animate Brian Clevinger's "8-Bit Theater" webcomic. Voice actors/directors Mack Devin & Edwyn "Omahdon" Tiong (aka the second Black Mage actor) recruited some of us recently to voice VG Cats' tribute to 8BT. For a site dedicated to nostalgia, I figured it wouldn't hurt to get nostalgic. The strip is here: http://www.vgcats.com/comics/?strip_id=65 The voiced-over video is here: It was a blast getting the band back together. Let us know what you think and be sure to check Mac & Omahdon's pages linked in video's description!
  2. I can has Street Fighter since 1994??
  3. So umm... (necessary) BUMP! Been having a ball (no pun intended) so far. One guy in the Indiana Pokémon Go Trainers FB group caught a 573 CP Vaporeon in the wild! https://www.facebook.com/groups/PokemonGOIndiana/permalink/1012611315504636/ I've got lots of Eevees and bird/bug Pokémon in my area. I'm hoping that silhouetted Snorlax comes back when I'm NOT driving. Which teams are you all on? #teammystic #teamblue
  4. Great. As if I didn't have enough people giving my team the stink eye as it is. *sigh* Nail these creeps (no pun intended).
  5. Game Over. Daggone. Fifty-five is young. Yet he probably poured more into those fifty-five than must of us would with twice that. Good show, Mr. Iwata.
  6. Sell. Give 1/4 to charity, pay your debts/loans, and stash the rest in your "new home/new car/engagement ring" fund.
  7. Hey! Species8472!

I watch Star Trek now; I understand the reference! Come back!!

  8. I looped Shnabubula's "Temple" from NES JAMS into a BRSTM (use for Temple), as well as zircon/sixto's "Subterranean Kamikaze", injury's "Circuit Breaker", and zircon's "Monstrous Turtles" (use for Luigi's Mansion). I gots severals mores.
  9. I've been waiting for this album for you to make this album for 13 years.
  10. This is why I love nerds: Droidsound has been unofficially spunoff by a fan of the app and it now plays much more varied game files, including usf, dsf, 2sf, and brstm... which means if you want the SSBM/SSBB soundtrack on your Android or if you've looped Sixto & zircon's Subterranean Kamikaze into a brstm like I have, you can listen to it fo'evah. https://github.com/droidmjt/droidsound Go to the "prebuilt" folder and download "droidsound-debug.apk" P.S. Shnabubula's Zelda 2 "Temple" from NES JAMS makes an awesome brstm also. I ain't tellin' you what I heard, I'm tellin' you what I know!
  11. http://www.cnn.com/2014/04/30/showbiz/obit-bob-hoskins/index.html?hpt=hp_inthenews Game over : (
  12. x = ((Skrypnyk's post + The Coop's post + k-wix's post) - talent) I'm wired to enjoy a loop over and over (which explains why i keep creating .BRSTM files). Id wager I'm apt to listen to the source material more often than the remix for many songs. But to each his (or her) own.
  13. I won't spoil. Just curious if anyone else finished season 2. I enjoyed the first season more. It seemed to almost borderline campiness toward the end. I'm looking forward to see how/if season 3 closes everything up. I hope it doesn't drag on and on greedily and unnecessarily (*cough cough* "LOST" / "Alias" / "Prison Break *cough cough*).
  14. Nothin' says lovin' like a good ol' fashioned Twitter parody account. https://www.twitter.com/Frank_Underwood
  15. Win. I liked the SNES-version soundtrack. It's actually not bad.
  16. Played a Klingon too. Was also a lead contender for role of Worf. http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/James_Avery Somehow I don't see him making out with Marina Sirtis or Terry Farrell, but stranger things have happened.
  17. Per the Twitter account of Fresh Prince co-star Alfonso Ribeiro https://mobile.twitter.com/alfonso_ribeiro/status/418440286583259136
  18. Impressive. That mashup makes it better. It took 19 years to become public knowledge. Is there a reason Buxer would've kept it quiet so long? Carnival Night = "March of the Gladiators" + "Jam".
  19. I started one years ago and made a roughly 90 second SMB3 instrumental mix. I scribbled some lyrics, but never recorded them. I still have the mp3, but at the time I only had the FL Studio demo, ergo, no source file. I've thought about trying to recreate it from scratch, though. If something does come out of this, please PM me. As OCR's resident Bible Thumper (probably 2nd only to Thin Crust), I would LOVE to be involved. Welcome to OCR. **side note** I DID make brief EDM-ish version of "I Know It Was The Blood"... 4x4 4 tha Lord!
  20. Would you be able to generate an html list of those songs via Winamp? I'd love to see a list without having to grab the 1GB file first. I'm wondering if some of the old VGMix tracks I have are in your archive.
